"Say, Leia, what exactly got you angry six years ago?"
Grayson sat in a cross-legged position, holding the bottle of water in one of his hands and the other on the floor. Leia sat, facing Grayson also, clutching her legs that were folded up with both hands as if she were hugging them.
"Huh? You are asking about why I left?"
"I know why you left home, but I can't just discern what exactly got you worked up."
Leo saw as they spoke, and he wished they could be that way forever. He knew how much Grayson hated Leia, so it wasn't new to him that they were always not on good terms.
"I'm going to leave you guys here…" Leo turned back and walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.
"Okay, Leo." Grayson took a glimpse at the door and turned back to look at Leia. "So, is it because I went nuts you also got mad?"
"No, not exactly, just many things got me pissed off that day."
"Like?"
"Well, the fact that I wasn't able to order you around kind of pissed me off too, but…" Leia paused when she noticed the look on his face.
"You irk me," He said, looking irritated at the way she spoke. He knew Leia always liked to feel like she was higher than any other person, but he didn't know she also saw him as someone lower than her.
"What? Does it sound weird?"
"Yes, it does,"
"Back to what I was saying, the first time I told uncle Leo about my plan, he laughed it off and said, 'Leia, I don't have a problem with whatsoever anybody wants to do with his life, whether you choose to be good or bad, I don't care.' and maybe I misunderstood and guessed he said he was in support of it."
For a moment, Leia paused and Grayson stared at her, trying to get the point of what she said.
Leia then proceeded, "So that day I left, when he said I did wrong, it was the ever first time he did that to me, he sounded like he was no more in support of what I wanted, so, I lost it."
"Wow, you were much more obtuse than I thought, how the hell would you even have that mentality?"
"Huh?!, you want me to deck you once more?"
"Like you can. Well, I have changed my mind about wanting to save people like me, like, why the hell would I want to play the hero?"
Leia's face glowed the moment he said, and it was quite obvious. She didn't ever expect that to come from him, with the way he was always obsessed with saving the newborn Beasts.
Apparently, he had saved at least two newborn Beast and took them to orphanages. Leia told him it was pointless, but he didn't want to hear it from her.
"So, Grayson, does that mean you will help me with my proposal?"
"Nope, never, I will never do that… I prefer not to save them, but at the same time, I want to avoid killing anyone, it's a pain."
"Urrgh, you got more mature, but you are still stone-headed."
"Wait, asking me about it now, does it mean you haven't completed your mission? Like six years is enough for you to kill some people, or to find someone that would help you take the blame."
"It isn't easy to find someone capable, that's why I came to you, so if it isn't you, it has to be someone much better than you."
"Well, have it your way, but I'm never going to help you to kill a single soul."
"Wait, do you know that with the way you are talking, it sounds like you can only kill if I don't order you to."
"If you think that, then you are just foolish."
"Seems I should really deck you. So, Grayson, how has life here been since I left?"
"Just usual, except the fact that things got more peaceful, and it was then I realized you were the nuisance here."
"Huh? Me?! A nuisance?!" Leia looked furious, but it was obvious that she was joking.
"Yes, you… By the way, what exactly have you been doing with your life for the past six years? At some point, I heard that at Lion University there was some form of a popular girl named Leia, is that you?"
Leia raised one of her eyebrows, "Wait, don't you put on your television or your phone? Of course, I was popular because I am the mayor's daughter and also cause I was in lots of ads."
"Wait, you?" Grayson kind of giggled, and that pissed Leia off.
"Huh? Are you laughing at me?"
"Damn yes!"
"You are lucky that I am in a good mood today, so I will let you off the hook."
"Uhmm, Leia, mind if I ask you something?"
"No, I don't, what's it?"
"Two years ago, I think today or yesterday made it two years, there was some form of an incident that took place at Lion University,"
Leia looked curious, and she paid more attention than she did earlier.
"I saw on the news that about three people died on a trip to Autumn park or something, did you do that?"
"Huh? Why are you asking, something in me tells me that you have your answer."
"Yeah, I do, actually, I kind of heard that you were friends with… Never mind…"
Leia was more curious, and she moved closer to Grayson.
"What did you hear?"
She kept asking Grayson, but he didn't reply, at some point, she got tired and left him alone.
"So, Grayson, why did you ask me about that?"
"I just wanted to know if you were the one who did it."
"Well there is no need lying, I did it, it isn't like you would go on and snitch me about something I did two years ago. Well, I know you have heard of M. D, he is taking the blame for me as usual."
Grayson was confused, he thought about Leia's earlier comment that she hadn't carried out her plan.
"But, uhm… you claim that you haven't killed who you wanted to, right?"
"You mean that? The ones I killed are not even related to who I need to kill. I am just using M. D for some things. It might take years to eventually kill who I really want to."
Grayson looked completely blank, he didn't understand a thing she said. "Never mind about it, Leia." He said, carrying the bottle of water to his mouth to drink.
The two spoke for a long while until the sun began to set.
"Hey! You two, come eat dinner!" They both heard Leo's voice yell out from outside the room they were in. They both stood up and walked to the dining.
In the dining, they all sat, preparing to eat, and at that moment, before Grayson sat down to eat, he took a look at Leia and wondered why she was still with them. "Hey, Leia, why are you having dinner with us?"
"Huh? I am pretty sure Uncle called us both and not just you, and I think I see plates for three and not two people… or do you want to eat it all?"
"Leo, why are you being all nice to Leia?!"
"Leia, eat your meal, you can sleep here also if you want." Leo smiled, taking his spoon to dig it into the meal.
"Thank you for the meal," Leia said and began to eat.
