Chapter 6 - Chapter 5: Parents and children.

Fun fact for this chapter:

What is in parentheses and quotes ("") will be phrases or dialogues in the past.

I will use them often for phrases that the parents of the boys said in their past; whether they are supportive, rebellious, loving, or even sad.

Now yes, let's go with the chapter ...

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

As soon as casniel returned home that day his parents were sitting in the living room, nathiel had to do a homework assignment for which he would arrive later.

When Casniel's gaze fell on his parents, he knew what was coming, a talk.

Casniel trying to avoid them was going to go up the stairs but his father was faster taking his arm and making him sit on the sofa in front of them.

Father: Well… -her father sat opposite, next to her husband -Now, tell us about that girl.

Casniel: I already told you… -casniel sighed- there is nothing special.

Dad: If there wasn't, you wouldn't hesitate to tell us about her-her dad kept a smile on his face-so… speak up.

Casniel blushed, to his misfortune, the smile on his father grew and he giggled.

Father: Wow… it reminds me of us sweetheart- her father stroked her dad's cheek.

Dad: Without a doubt ... -his dad changed sides sitting next to casniel-you are counting on us son.

Casniel sighed, looked at his parents and began to speak.

Casniel: Well ... when I saw her for the first time ... -casniel sighed again-I felt something strange ... as if ... my eyes saw some brightness around her ... -casniel showed a smile-when I'm with her, I feel different ... more cheerful ... lively ... happy.

Casniel looked at his dad, who had a warm smile on his face, then at his father who was smiling. Both adults were taking it easy and were listening to him, casniel supposed that his grandparents had not taken things like their parents.

Casniel: She's fun and somewhat… very enthusiastic-casniel giggled-she's also very kind and likes to make new friends. She gets along with everyone at the moment, that's good, although if someone messes with her the director will call them.

Dad: A boy in detention for protecting his love-his dad gave a big laugh at this-he reminds me a lot of someone I know… -his dad shot a look at his father who blushed.

Casniel: Well ... for something you say that I look more like father and nathiel to you dad-casniel showed a smile-actually I was worried that they would not like her.

Father: Not at all ... -his father let out a laugh -We are not our parents ... those were some-

Dad: Watch your language honey-his dad was serious.

Father: Sure ... -his father smiled nervous-well ... and do you plan to conquer dalina?.

Casniel was surprised for a moment and then he thought about it ... Dalina was very cute and affectionate ... also her sister said that she never opened up with strangers so fast, that should be a signal for Casniel to make a move.

Casniel: Maybe I will try… -casniel looked at his dad- any advice?

Dad / Father: Find out what she likes, give her a small or simple but heartfelt detail, be kinder to her and be attentive - both parents spoke at the same time.

Casniel looked at them with wide eyes, it almost seemed that he spoke in one voice. He hoped he could do the same one day.

Casniel: Sure ... I'll do that-casniel smiled at his parents decided.

* Departments of Central City, fourth floor. *

A young brown-haired adult was working on a new invention, her husband proposed to help but the brunette shook his head, therefore her husband was preparing lunch just as the door to the living room opened.

Hayrer: Come back! -Hayrer put the keys in the bowl near the door next to his backpack for the moment.

Father: Come hayrer-his father called him from the kitchen, when Hayrer approached him he whispered-don't distract your dad, he's stuck in his invention.

Hayrer: Still can't invent something? ...- Hayrer asked his father in a whisper.

Father: I am afraid not ... I say that he is going through a period without creativity-his father sighed while stirring something in a pot-all his life he invented things out of nothing, now he must take it easy and think.

Hayrer looked at the room that his father used to work, the door was closed so he had not heard him arrive.

Hayrer: Do you think he will get over it? -Hayrer looked at his father as he handed him a spoon for him to try- it's delicious.

Father: I'm not really sure ... -his father turned off the stoves and removed the pots from the heat-I'll go get him, set the table.

Hayrer: Sure father ... -when his father left Hayrer went to the cupboard to take the plates and cutlery.

When I put everything on the table I hear the sound of the front door, surprised he approached and looked through the viewer that his father placed. On the other side of the door was his great-uncle, Hayrer knew from stories of his parents that this man was not very trustworthy.

Hayrer moved a bit away from the door and when he saw his father approaching, he told him who was on the other side. His father went to the door and yanked it open, looking annoyed at the man on the other side.

¿?: Dear nephew! How long… -the man looked at the one with brown hair-hello anyway.

Father: What do you want uncle ... -his father was serious, it was better to be careful with this man.

¿?: Very well ... straight to the point eh nephew-the man gave him an envelope and a letter to his father-it's from your mother, he asked me to bring it to you.

His father took both and with one hand on the door looked at the man in front of him.

¿?: Nothing more dear nephew ... -the man waved goodbye and left.

His father closed the door, locking it just in case, and put the envelope and letter on the couch.

Dad: Won't you see what they say? -His dad was going to take the envelope but his father stopped him.

Father: Then… I don't want to get upset so early-his father let go of his dad's hand-the food gets cold, come on.

Hayrer watched his father walk into the dining room, then looked at the envelope and the letter. He didn't know if anything good would come of this, but he was determined not to let his father break down again… as in the past before his birth.

*Nueva Vista Apartments, fifth floor. *

A young adult with orange hair was doing his exercise routine, next to him was his son doing a routine but less extreme.

¿?: Excuse me, couple of athletes ... -a young adult, with black hair and a hat knocked on the door of the training room-lunch is ready.

¿?: Sure ... -the orange haired left the weights on the floor-thanks for letting us know, darling-she approached her husband and left a chaste kiss on his lips.

Keward: Ahem I'm still here parents ... -the dark orange haired young man covered his eyes-do that in private.

The one with the black hair and the one with the orange hair blushed a little with a small smile, then the three of them went to the dining room.

Keward looked at his parents, smiling slightly at how loving they were always.

* Starry Night Mansion, First Floor *

Ethel was reading a book in the library, when she heard a noise coming from the kitchen. Frowning, he closed the book and headed for his room.

He did not dislike living with his uncles and aunts, but sometimes he would like a bit of silence in this great mansion. On his way he passed through the kitchen and saw the reason for all the fuss.

The noise was caused by avan and elarah, who were trying to prepare something. Ethel couldn't see what it was but she was certainly laughing at her cousins' attempts to make… a cake?.

Ethel: Are they trying to poison someone? ...- ethel let out a laugh at the faces of his cousins-don't get me into the crime they want.

Avan: Shut up ethel… we tried to prepare something for… -avan interrupted himself- for someone.

Ethel: Aha… whatever you say-ethel went to the fridge, took a container and poured some of the contents-just clean everything up or our uncle will be upset.

Avan and Elarah giggled and then continued cooking.

Ethel finished her drink and once she had washed the glass and put it away she left the kitchen in the direction of her room.

On the way he met his father, who was wearing his protective glasses.

Ethel: Hello father… -his father stopped at his voice and smiled at him.

Father: Ethel son ... -his father seemed happy-how good I see you, I need you to do me a favor.

Ethel: What's it about?-Ethel looked at her father.

Father: I need you to stay with your dad, I'll go get some things to my old room to prepare some medicine ... -his father adopted a sad tone.

Ethel: Dad is down… again?-Ethel sighed and went to her parents' room.

Upon entering he saw his dad lying on the bed with his eyes closed, Ethel slowly approached and sat on the edge of the bed. Before the change, his father stirred in bed and opened his eyes.

Unfortunately her dad was blind therefore his eyes were a light gray color. Ever since ethel was born, he remembers those eyes seeing him but not at the same time.

His dad always tells him that he doesn't need his eyes to see what Ethel becomes, just having him close is enough. His uncles told him stories as a child, where his father spent hours in the library reading and caressing his belly.

Also that on several occasions his father showed his worried side when he saw his father very excited, but deep down sad for not being able to see his own son.

("¿?: I don't need to see him ... -it was what his father said, according to his uncles-I know that he will be beautiful ... a whole prince who will receive all my love, care and protection. A beautiful work created by my beloved and I, worthy of being among living beings and living a quiet life. ")

Ethel: Dad… -ethel stroked her dad's hair.

Dad: Hi Ethel… -His dad coughed a bit, Ethel handed him a glass of water and his dad took a drink -thank you…

Ethel: You must take better care of yourself… -ethel stroked her father's hair, smiling- otherwise, you won't be able to take care of me.

Dad: Oh my boy ... -his dad smiled-you're already a man ... you don't need me anymore, but don't worry my little one, leaving you is not in my plans.

They both giggled, the door was opened again and Ethel turned to look to find his father with a glass and a rare substance.

Father: I already have the formula prepared ... -his father sat on the other side of the bed, with one arm he helped his father to sit on the bed-drink it slowly.

Helped by his father, his father took the entire contents of the glass, then his father laid him back on the bed and Ethel continued stroking his hair.

Father: You must rest and wait for it to take effect ... -his father left a kiss on his father's forehead -for now rest love.

Dad: Okay ... -his dad smiled-ethel, can you pass me my blindfold ... Please?.

Ethel looked at the nightstand, there was the bandage, took the piece of cloth and helped her dad to put it on. Then he left a last caress on his father's head along with a kiss on his forehead and together with his father they left the room, leaving his father to rest.
