"Hey James, you crazy oldman what the hell did you just sent me into?"
"Hey Alsiel buddy, how is it your first experience seeing unnatural things caused by other human ?" James seems happy about it.
"What do you mean 'how?' i almost got killed" Alsiel said still panicking from the experience he just goes trough.
"Didn't i tell you to not get close ? ah whatever, so do you get excited about it?"
Before Alsiel get to say something to retort, James told something interesting to Alsiel.
"Do you want to have a chance at a power like that?" James ask seriously.
"Wha---"
"Why? surprised? come to the Shining Knives to know about it" James sound mysterious and hang the phone.

The Shining Knives is located in a small apartement building, room number 213 at the edge of the bustling town. It was a place for the person contracted by James to meet him to get matter done.
Alsiel hurried to get in to room 213, the inside is tidy like an office with a few tea cups to serve coming guest and some chair. Strangely for a place named The Shining Knives it doesn't hang any kind of knives on the wall.
"You say you could make me into one of these monsters, how do i do that? Body modification, medication, robotics?" Alsiel hurriedly say.
"Straight to the point i see. well take a seat it will take some time after all" James unhurriedly say to this agent of his.
Alsiel then took a seat in one of the long sofa's, James then join him while bringing some tea.
"Well you see, it's not like our civilization is so advanced that we could afford to make a modified human every now and then much less hundreds of them, no we do have some heritage though. from people of the past. or at least that's what our client told me over the phone." James tell Alsiel what he knew about it.
"That is quite correct, Mr. Brook" a young man then come in to the shining knives with two other tall man each by his side. this person wear a lab coat with a safety goggles dangling on his neck.
"Ah Mr.Rembrant, you arrive here earlier than promised." James say clearly surprised at the arrival of the man in lab coat.
"Yeah James i need to go to the site faster for my research. This one is the bodyguard?" Rembrant ask while looking at Alsiel like looking at a test subject.
"Bodyguard? no, i don't think im fit for that role." Alsiel said. Before the event earlier he might still consider being a bodyguard, But after seeing the two person behind Rembrant, he knew for sure that those two are like the other two monster he saw earlier, albeit a bit weaker.
James too has seen some inhuman and knew about the two of them thus he said "it seems you need a scout more than a bodyguard mr.Rembrant, well you know the drill you profit, i profit. while it's true that im relying on the government doesn't mean my agent will do everything YOU ask."
"Tsk, i've been outed huh" Rembrant say "Fine, because im in a hurry i'll give you more compensation just that we need to go now" Rembrant then took out a scroll clearly newly written.
"This is a copy of ancient findings we find. See you can have these as one of the early compensation" Rembrant say while in his mind he say "of course these are the lowest ranked cultivation magic we have, heh just see if you can cultivate it to level three without spending resource on mana" while it show in his face he tried to hide it as possible.
"You see the ancient people are cultivating these kind of knowledge to have power more than normal human. Our people call the people using these as Magician, Cultivator, Gurus, Buddha, Master whatever you want to call it, and that is all i will tell you about these." Rembrant say clearly in a hurry.
"While i do trust you mister Rembrant, i cannot say what you give us is real without testing it out first right, what will my poor self do if it turns out you are scamming my poor agent here" James say while looking at Rembrant.
Scoffing Rembrant throw 3 crystal-like stone and turn to leave "i'll give your guy 2 hours he better be ready by then."
