The following morning Alsiel is opening his eyes in the same cave he was sleeping yesterday. he slept like a log because of the exhaustion from the event that happened in a row. first he run from Brock the destroyer, then he run from the living armor inside of the ruin, and he got teleported into god know where and he need to run again from a tiger beast.
"Why do i always need to run? i want to be strong too right" He said saddened to himself. "anyway it seems like that voice from yesterday is giving me something" Alsiel then pull out a small mirror from his pocket. the mirror is shaped like an eye making Alsiel wonder what can it do. Alsiel then bring the mirror closer to his left eye to inspect and see it's function. but before he could the mirror fly directly into his left eye.
"Arrrgh" the sensation from given by his left eye is unimaginable. he feel like something is trying to mix with his left eye. the process is happening for 30 minutes before it stopped and he could open his eyes again.
"What just happen ?" Alsiel is looking out not noticing anything different from his eyes but when he see his own palm, there appear a number with some symbol.
"What is this '<1' meaning im not level one yet ?" Alsiel draw the conclusion. after that he look at his surrounding and noticed something, "wait i feel an aura. it feels like something from that mana stone but it was certainly weaker" what Alsiel feel is the mana in the nature. it could be absorbed into his body but not in a huge ammount at a time like when he used a mana stone. but it certainly can be used to fill his body in a stream like manner.
Noticing this kind of environment around him he then began to stimulate from the scroll once again. this happened for at least 6 hours before he then feels like the flow in his body is bigger than it was the first time he absorb mana.
" i see with a flow like this inside me i could probably use a mana stone and just transform it into a fireball more quickly than if i replenish it from nature." Alsiel then produce a fireball. and this time clearly it was the size of a human palm. He then look again focusedly at his body and the number this time show the number '1' in blue letter.
"It really did work that way. while it's not that usefull it could certainly help in determining what i could go for" he then feel the hunger that he felt after his cultivation. "These replicating scroll is really wasting my energy huh"
Alsiel then go out of the cave and climb some tree to look for a prey he could kill he could see beast with all kind of level for example a rabbit is leveled at 1 to 5, the wolves from yesterday is having level 13 as average and 16-17 as the leader. and the tiger he could see from afar was level 25. he then shuddered at the thought if that thing would be chasing him yesterday. The strange thing that happen is that the level on these beast show up in white, while his was blue.
The next few days Alsiel would occasionally hunt some rabbit while trying to walk away from the area that contain high leveled beast. he would hunt what he need to survive and replicating the energy flow from the scroll into his body. these process is happening for as long as 6 month when one day he cultivates and feel that inside his body the feeling of blowing up. he then stop the replication.
"What is wrong with this scroll ?" Alsiel is questioning the scroll. he could see that now he was in the third level according to the eye and seems to be reaching level 4 soon, he could now make a fireball as big as a human head or a condensed palm-sized that are stronger. "Was it really defective then ?" Alsiel then decided that he should stop cultivating the scroll for now and proceed to get out of the jungle center, he wouldn't want to be blowing up real soon.
Without the replicating of the scroll Alsiel get out of the thick jungle quickly. When one day with his own eye he see a person flying.
No wings. no machine. no booster or anything, the person just.... fly. Alsiel is more cautious than ever but clearly this person is the first one he see in more than six month. He then just follow in the general direction this person is going. he blindly follow it until one day he see what he wants the most, a village
