If they solve Joshua and crew, this would definatey be a huge accomplishment, cause not ony did they deal with a group that was left unsolved by Odamo who is a lieutenant general. They woud gain an abundant amount of contribution which would be able to push them a step up the ranks and also stablize their positions.
"But wasn't it said that Chaos killed candidtate lieutenant Strawberry," Grin expression converged a little when he said. Even though he goes by such rank he is still in the rear admiral level person same way but the power difference is still there, So if Chaos really did kill Strawberry the situation would be a bit more trickier than it is.
"No that's just a rumour, after all he was still a West Sea pirate," Izan shook his head as he munches aggressively on his chicken eg as he spoke. It must be some idle navy soldier gossiping cause, how can that be. That time in despite of Strawberry being soon promoted vice admiral he he had a better grasp of haki than any anyone of the rear admirals.
So how can such person fall under the fomer West sea pirate who at that time has not step foot in the grandline. For this is the place where you would be introduced to such powers of the world not in the four seas. But if that really happened that would be somewhat shocking. Despite the fact that, Sengoku specifically send such news should not be leaked, there are always going to be a few loose mouths.
Grin nodded the answer seems plausible, he really did not think a former West sea pirate could do that, so it must be some foolish rumor.
"What about the other pirates on the island?" Grin asked slowly.
"No need to pay attention to them until we take care of Chaos," Afro answered as he fixated his documents to the right side of him. Then all three persons nodded simulteanously, who is left back after cleaning up Joshua can timey follow him to the grave. But now Joshua is more important, as a good sum of navy contribution is on the line.
"So its finalized then, we should have the navy soldiers start blocking off the whole island perimeter," Afro said in looked on both of his colleagues.
"Yes."
"Agreed.."
Even though they are on an agreeable term, all three of them had their own thoughts as well re, this matter.
.....
The dusty winds swept in a spiral form revealing the two individuals who were sitting opposite to each other.
The old man who once again stopped for another moment had a slightly enlargen eyes. What Joshua said to just he really hasn't thought of this, it has never really flashed across his mind. He has always thought that he like time would be swept away by the ever ongoing waves of the oceans. Just come about unknowingly and die unknowingly, like the many who have washed away by the world.
Even though he resides in the 'cracks' for basicially all his life. It doesn't utterly mean he can't take a step out and venture what is beyond the cracks. Do a little something, accomplish a small goal, before the one live of your goes to waste. Because you only have one shot at life make the best use of it even its for a small period of time.
The winds howl through the surrounding lightly uplifted the the long beard of the old man, lengths of time went by but Joshua just calmly sits there. After all, the game has reached a stalement, a tie between both individuals and no matter if you try to calculate a move. It won't work as both remaining pawns which are face to face each other can't move.
"So whats your answer," Joshua asked while the tall neck of his black cloak fluster lightly and slim chains at his left side danggles faintly.
The old man whose clothes rocked light on him still sat in silence on the old stool. He closed his eyes and calmly took in the blowing of the peaceful winds.
"This old man have thought about for sometime and what you said did grasp this old man's attention," he slowly as as his beards moved.
"Travelling the world and getting a get a true feeling of the free stated place is not bad at all."
"But..." The old man's voice got a little shraper and the continuous coughing stopped for a moment.
"What is your strength like, for this old man to take upon this journey with you," he opened his eyes but this time is was of a dead, indifferent look that greeting the surrounding. Then an intense blue colour appeared right across his eyes as he looks dead at Joshua.
"You can find out," Joshua said calmy, he did not think he would be able to have such strong person in his ranks, if he can't prove himself that he is worthy.
Although Joshua spoke, the two still sat their just looking at each other.
45seconds...1minute....2minutes
Time went by and the winds which were moving calmly about, started to move hurriedly. The dust in the air began to concentrate while the swaying of the trees become more vigorous. The long stems of the tall grass has become chaotic, the small pebbles which were stationary on the ground began to move repeatedly.
In that same breath, the chess pieces which were on the board have also undertaken movements. At time intervals, cracks appear on the boards as both colour pieces would fall as the continuous vibrating happens. The old man and Joshua both still looked at each other as this transpires.
Despite the fact, that there is no movement from them, but if look deeply in the spirtual space, you can realise the royal blue aura of the old man and the black pitch aura of Joshua were clashing against each other. Due to this The atmosphere solidfies as the on going clash happens. This contniued as more cracks to appear on the small table right down to its foot.
But it did not stop there as it further extended to the vibrating causing a small crack to appear. Nevertheless, with all that is going the world around was complete blank to what is happening.
The old man whose black pupil whose flickering blue light shrank a when he was staring at Joshua.
"Ahh, forget it, cough..cough," the old man coughed as he drew back his unforseen provocation. The clash of spirtual powers was just some basic stuff, however the old man could still determine Joshua's strength level.
It was terrible...
Really strong, he can could also sense the dark, creepy cold aura of Joshua thats even freeze in the surrounding around him. The strong and negative breath which was moves right about him is one to dread for.But thats not all, the old man eyes flashed a little as he once a again looked on Joshua.
When he was staring at Joshua he could feel a poison venomous snake staring right back at him. Its predatorial gaze was very shrap and its ferociouscity kept screaming and hollowing into his mind. With it encamped around a dark aura just its glare alone gave made him feel explicit danger.

"What a terrifying young man," the old man said with squinted eyes. With his good-high grasp of observation he know that he is not on Joshua's level. Even so, a touch of respect went across his face, after all he wil not follow a weak leader.
Seeing the old man's reaction, Joshua's expression did no change. The old man is indeed has good strength but he and him are not on the same power proportion. He then glanced at the table which had the chess board hanged downwards because of its broken state. Then looked on the many fallen pieces and said,
"It seems we have to this chess game another time and such another time will be more often."
The old man who just heard slightly looked down and looked back up and Joshua. He knows what Joshua is indicating about.
"Thats right," he said.
Then both stood up from where they were and came into the light of day. Joshua's full body height came to a stop but the old man figire continue to go up and now his shadow as fully covered Joshua.
Joshua eyes flashed as he looked up on the tall figure.
The old man seemed to be around 14ft, he had long grey sliverish hair which was combed to the back of his head. Many wringles were on his old face, the colour mentioned before was the same of both his shrap eyesbrows and his long flowing beard. Even though he had many wringes on his face, his eyes were shrap and full of power.
He had on a dark brown kimono which had a snow white fabric underneath it. Over that he had on smooth golden silk shawl, for the edges it was in a red orange colour. What could also be noted a faint designed pattern which as around it and even onto the his kimono. Such smooth piece of silk was also tied around his waist in a bow format.
Over to his left there were two long sword which wee near a metre long tied together at his waist. As for his feet, he had on a neatly kept pair of sandals.

"The old man name is Motoa," Motoa lightly smiled as he removed his hand from his mouth.
The wind rushed by flustering Motoa clothes, although he looked old and crapped up, his breath radiated a strong vibrant vigor and in despite of standing in a ordinary way his posture still emitted a powerful demeanor.
"I see," Joshua said in a low voice.
"What is the name of the lad, this old man will be following," Motoa coughed as he asked.
"My name is....Joshua," Joshua said as he look on the tall figure.
"Joshua, not a bad name, its better than this old man one, cough cough," Motoa answered back.
"Can I call you Joshua or is it Captain now," he added.
"Do what you want," Joshua gave a plain response.
"I see," so then .... the old man eyes flashed a little bit.
"Joshua why are you so short,hahaha...," Motoa laughed wildy as he looks on Joshua. There is a hge difference between their height, its to the point he can just rest his hnads on Joshua's shoulder like its nothing. The strength a person wields has nothing to do with height, but Motoa couldn't help but laugh.
Joshua did not say anything, how tall and how short he is cannot controll it, because it all comes down to his genetics.
"Sorry about that Captain," Motoa said as he wiped the small tear from his eyes. He then looked on the weapon behind Joshua waist and his eyes flickered.
"You use a sword, that means your a swordsman," Motoa eyes flickered with a ray of blue as he asked.
"You can say so,"
"You yourself is swordsman also, a matter of fact a two handed swordsman," Joshua gaze shrapen when he looked on one of Motoa swords.
"I guess so," Motoa light smiled as he also gave not a clear answer.
"How about we spar sometime in the future," Motoa grinned as he talked.
"No problem," Joshua nodded as he answered in a calm tone.
Then both stood in silence as the winds blew went by ruffling their clothes. Even though they said nothing a tactical understanding or agreement came to being. Motoa who still had a light smile on his face, hair and beard continue to be move as the winds harshly moved by. He then opened his mouth and sighed softly.
"I want to see if your able to reach the top..."
"Good," Joshua replied as he stood in his stationary position.
" Then Joshua, captain from here on out I will be travelling around the world with you." Motoa said as a thin ray of blue moved through his eyes.
