While Christopher returned to his room, late in the night, he had the urge to whistle. Finally, finally he had been able to overcome the last hurdle and perfect the dish that he needed to get done as the main dish in his surprise.
However, he could not have expected that his wife would have the smelling sense of a fox.. As soon as he entered, Jeannie looked up at him with a different look in her eye.
As her glance took him in from head to toe, Christopher almost felt as if he was a school boy who had been caught red handed. Did he have some sugar on his face.
"What?"
Jeannie walked to him and walks around the man, sniffing cautiously.
Finally, unable to take the suspense, he asked," What is it?"
Jeannie frowned and questioned, "Where have you been? I called Du Ming and he said that you were out for a meeting. And now you come back smelling of basil and sugar! Did you go somewhere for dinner?"
