When the door opened and Amara saw who entered, she immediately bounced up from the bed almost falling but was held up by Aurar and brought down from the bed making sure she is very stable on the ground before removing his hands from her.
Touching the ground, Amara immediately ran towards Pietro while shouting, "uncle Pietro!"
Hearing her call, Pietro ran towards her and hugged her, "princess you are alright. Don't be afraid" saying so, he carried her up and then turn towards Aurar and then introduced them, "princess, this is your grandpa"
"Grandpa?"
"Yes, princess. Remember the one your mummy told you about?" When Aurar heard his daughter told his granddaughter about him, he was very happy because it means that she didn't forget him and has forgiven him for not agreeing with her marriage.
"p'at'ara saq'varelo, I am your grandpa Aurar" Aurar called her in Georgian language and introduced himself while smiling softly.
Amara forced her way down from the arms of Pietro and introduced herself, "hello, my name is Amara" this made Aurar smile at the level of her education
Vampiric children grow very fast mostly due to the vampire fast metabolism especially pure blooded ones and at some point, their growth automatically stops and they remain like that forever but, he doesn't know what rare of growth his granddaughter is going to be because she also has the bloodline of pure blood blue wolf shifter and shifter children's growth is similar to that of vampires except that when they reach an age they stop their fast growth and start ageing slowly.
Getting on his knees, Aurar opened his arms for her clearly demanding a hug which Amanda obliged. Looking at the blushing child in his arm, Aurar couldn't keep himself from kissing her adorable cheeks while screaming silently, 'so soft!' Wishing to hug her like this forever never letting go!

Aurar stood by the window that overlooks the garden of the palace with a smile at hearing the childish and joyous laughter of his little darling Amara who was busy ordering her cousins to push her up and down on the swing and he knows that her beautiful eyes have changed colour to orange which always happens when she is in a playful mood.
Life has changed in the palace ever since Pietro arrived with Amara in his arms four months ago. Investigating the vampires is easy but the shifters, it is not easy at all and he is convinced that the traitor must be from the shifter's side and he or she is aware of Amara's existence.
He watched as she ran across the massive ground of the garden being chased by her cousins while under the watchful eyes of Pietro whom he has put as her guard despite him being human. He could have made him into a vampire-made but, the consequence of that would be that he would be in the throes of bloodlust which all newly made vampires has to go through and it is too long.
Georgian people have always been aware of vampires, in order word, they worship vampires because they are protected and all they just have to do, is give blood which they do willingly. To humans who wants to become vampires, they sign a two hundred years of servitude with the clan they wish to enter and Georgia has thirteen vampire clans apart from the royal family. This signed document is a way to keep new vampire-made in control and also a way for their master to assess if they are ready to live on their own because they are always in bloodlust until they can gain back their self control and sanity which takes time and the calculated timing is up to two hundred years.
He didn't want that as it would delay things and he is sure there will be time to change him into vampire-made when he (Pietro) choses.
