9 months into Isaac's arrival into this new world through the miracle that is birth, Isabella had let him go from crawling to walking. Of course, it was under her supervision every time he wanted to attempt to walk around. Isaac also had to pretend that he had not learned to walk months ago, and so whenever he would attempt walking around Isabella, he would occasionally fall for two weeks straight to simulate learning how to stand upright.
In the same amount of time, he graduated himself from baby words to real words. This shift allowed him to at least communicate with Isabella. He was always scared of how fast or how slow he should take his learning, trying not to let Isabella find out about just how smart he truly is. It would be weird if a 9-month-old baby were to suddenly ask you what is the longest word in the world, and for you to reply you don't know, yet the 9-month-old baby replied he did know, and that the word was pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.
The best way Isaac learned how to pace himself, was to let Isabella create the pace for him. If she ever was teaching him words, he would learn the words completely within a week of time. She taught him new words every moment that they spent together, outside of her working the bakery. She would also sometimes let him show off in front of the villagers by walking in the bakery and saying simple words like, "Hello" or "Hi".
There were also bigger problems than just being less paranoid, he was approaching the end of the "History of the Arcana", Isabella's book he had been reading for 6 months now. Isaac had finished completely reading the book 2 months after he had gotten his hands on it, but there were things he couldn't understand in the book. It was as if he was trying to learn the code for phyton all over again, and he never really truly accomplished that.
Isaac felt that he was closer to something substantial when reading the book, but there was an entirely different language that looked like symbols when he approached certain areas in the chapter. It was like the book itself was trying to keep him from learning the "true secret" behind it.
"There's nothing I can do about it I suppose". Isaac was tired and didn't feel like he would gain any headway into understanding the mystery language without some sort of translator. Oh, how he missed Google Translate, and to think teachers at school actually despised such a creation. Isaac could only shake his head at the useless thoughts that encompassed his head while reading. Setting the book aside into a more hidden spot behind the door, he began to walk towards the bakery.
Isabella had made strict guides for him in regards to walking around the bakery. He was allowed to go in and out of his and her rooms if he pleased, but there were certain things he was not able to enter, for instance, like the furnace room. Isaac had once tried to enter the room, but was quickly picked up and noted that the furnace room was a "bad place".
From then on, he never entered again, as to allow Isabella to keep herself peace of mind, but it was extremely boring for Isaac.

A year and three months pass
Isaac was 2 years old now and allowed himself to ask Isabella more intricate questions regarding the village. He learned that the village's name was Whitebridge, named after a white pristine bridge monument that leads people into the village itself, that was built by a famous artesian hired by the mayor when he first began construction for the village.
Isaac also had learned about the makeup of the village. Where Isaac and Isabella stayed was within the center of the village, as a bakery owner, she was considered middle class in accordance to the village. She made a stable income, and come afford to splurge her money as she had no competition in the village in terms of bread selling, as she owned the only bakery and had mouth-watering bread to sell to the villagers.
Those of the high-class were only a few individuals. The mayor was a person who would send a maid to come and order bread for himself from Isabella's bakery. He is one of the cash cows for Isabella, as he always ordered a lot of bread from Isabella's bakery. Isaac had even heard that he had asked her to come to make bread for him personally with a salary of silver coins, which was quite good in a village like this one. Isabella turned him down politely, of course, seeing as that she wanted to keep the bakery that her family has run for ages and kept passing down.
Isaac realized very quickly how privileged being the son of a bakery owner was, books were expensive, but Isabella would allow him to get a single book today, as she had saved up enough money to be put towards buying a book. Those families who were of the lower class wouldn't even have the chance to come in contact with literature, which very much showed the class divide in this world.
Considering he had learned that there were even more grand cities with students of much wealthier families than Isaac will ever encounter in this village, it is safe to say that Isaac could potentially be in danger if he goes to those higher-up places without sufficient strength. They very well might have him accused of a crime he didn't commit and because they were of a higher class, there would be nothing Isaac could do to prove his innocence when he wouldn't be given a fair right to prove himself innocent.
These were things that Isaac would have to wait to worry about, as there was no solution without venturing outside to find a solution to his problems. Isaac was finishing putting on his clothes as he was finally able to convince Isabella that he was a "big boy", so he should be old enough to put on his own clothes. Albeit with a few reminders, Isabella let up quickly on wanting to change his clothes.
"What is with mothers these days? Is dressing a baby that much fun for them". Isaac thinks as he rolls his eyes before sliding on a white shirt and buttoning the top for it, and then putting on a pair of brown trunks. Sliding on black boots, Isaac walks over to the front of the bakery before getting the attention of his mother.
"Mommy, cmon, I want to go to the library". Isaac says to Isabella with a smile on his face. The more he saw people walking the streets, the more and more he wanted to enter the library.
"I'll never understand why you want to read so bad, but it's fine. Here I come". Isabella says as he grabs a wooden board, with the word "Closed" etched on it. As she grabbed Isaac's hand and walked with him outside, she turned around, locked the door, placed the sign on a viewable spot at the entrance to the bakery.
Isabella and Isaac then set off for the library. Isaac was always excited whenever he got the chance to walk around outside. He had only been allowed to go out with Isabella four times including this moment, since the 2 years he had been on Nomios. It was boring to be stuck inside the house every single day without being able to do anything.
Isaac could be considered somewhat of an introvert, even though there were definitely times he went out, he primarily stayed at home working on designs. Back in his old neighborhood before he went to college, as a child, he was given the name, "The Closet Technician". Back then, Isaac wouldn't play with other kids cause he was always so busy designing away, doing his all to learn about engineering, his dream was to be one of the world's greatest engineers.
This led to Isaac staying at home a majority of his childhood, and even into junior high. Since he was an outcast, he was labeled as such, and as kids saw him, they would always tease him with that name. Isaac slowly while walking lost himself to his recollection of the memories.
"It's Closet Technician. Run before he does creepy experiments on us"! A kid barely the age of 7 wearing a red shirt and white pants points at a young Isaac before running away with a bunch of other kids his age. As they all laugh and run away with smiles on their face, Isaac only continues to stare at the ground in front of him as he begins to walk and make his way home.
Everything would be forgotten once Isaac reached home with his mom, his tools, and his inventions. He might not have had many friends, but he was able to enjoy the simplicity of working day after day in pursuit of his dream. To him, it didn't matter how long it might take, he would continue to pursue it with open arms and fast-moving feet.
"Isaac, we are here honey". Isabella's soft voice brought Isaac back into reality, realizing that they had already made it to the library. Staring up at the staircase leading up to the library, Isaac suddenly felt like he was walking into a holy land. Isabella helped Isaac cross the steps upwards and they finally opened the doors into the library.
The inside of the library was very spacious and brought about a feeling of tranquility just by stepping in. Isaac could hear clearly the sound of their footsteps as they walked inside the library. There were lanterns hanging from up above, shining down a blue luminescent light. Isaac was amazed at the sight of the light, during all the time he had been on Nomios, the only produced light around, came from the light of flames in lanterns. Isaac had never seen such a beautiful light that shined a blue light instead of bright yellow.
The blue light made the coziness of the atmosphere increase as it caused the dark wood flooring and walls to reflect the light. Overall, the library's polished look, and fancy architecture made Isaac wonder why the library was so empty, surely there were a few people in the village who would sit down for a casual read.
That was until Isaac saw a sign next to the library that read, "5 silver coins per 30 minutes in the library. 1 silver coin per entry".
"What is this!? Highway robbery"? Isaac thinks incredulously at the pricing for being allowed to be in the library for extended amounts of time.
"Does Isabella even have enough to foot the cost of this ridiculous expense"? Isaac thought worringly as he turned to face Isabella who hadn't noticed the distressed look in his eyes.
Isabella calmy walked to a desk on the left that was near the entrance with a statue of a open ended sphere with multiple movable rotations and pressed her finger down on a small service bell, letting a small ring encompass the previous silence.
Suddenly, a man walked from a staircase that lead to a higher level in the library, down to the desk to where Isabella and Isaac were while carrying a stack books in his arms. The man was tall and lean, had murky yellow skin that looked sickly under the light of the lanterns from above and around the library. As he walked down the staircase, his features became more visible to Isaac. The man had a shaved head, and his eyes looked like they were in a constant stern stare, which complimented the sharp nose he had, same with his ears.
As the man put down the stack of books on top of the desk where the service bell was, he smiled up at Isabella and spoke with a calm tone. "Ah, Mrs. Isabella, how wonderful to see you again, it's been some time since you came to the library. I do hope that I can accomodate you properly". He bowed after he spoke, putting on the type of friendly smile that looked as if Isabella and him had known each other for ages, warm, and rememberful.
