When I was somewhere between 6-8, I don't know but I do remember my Mom and Dad tell each others I love you and goodbye after Dad goes to work. Being ignorant about it makes me think that it's a normal thing to do especially if you are both parents. I have seen one when I watch tv, Married couples say I love you together when they go out or kiss or just hugs. There are girlfriends and boyfriends say their I love you's to each other. Which I really didn't mind it at all.
