Chapter 113: The Crusade
The more distance that there was between the witch village and them, the better it was going to be.
"Where are we going, Witch Queen?" Junk asked September.
"Junk. You know I am no longer the Witch Queen. The title now belongs to my little sister. It has been so long since I haven't been in charge of the village. You can quit calling me that now," she mentioned to him, explaining to the Minotaur that it wasn't her anymore. She was no longer the Witch Queen, and she will no longer ever be the Witch Queen. It was over. It was a thing from the past.
"Ah!" he sighed as he placed his arms behind his head. "To me, you'll always be the one and only Witch Queen," Junk replied.
"I am not sure if that's supposed to be cute of you."
"It's not you. It's not me being cute. I can't be cute. I am a fierce Minotaur. Don't you forget that. I just personally prefer calling you: 'Witch Queen', then by your first name. That's all there is to it."
"Oh, yeah, Junk is totally being a cutie right now!" April interrupted the Minotaur and voiced the fact that she personally thought that the colossal and monstrous beast that they had for bodyguard was quite adorable. Naturally, this angered Junk and made him gritting his teeth. He didn't appreciate being called: 'Cute', and: 'Adorable'. That wasn't something he was into at all. It was normal for Minotaurs like him to be feeling the urge to be taken seriously, which was totally understandable. However, with these two traveling and working with them, it wasn't exactly easy to be taken seriously.
"I can see that…" September nodded. Finding this amusing.
"Why are you two, tormenting me like this?" he said, looking the way. Attempting to ignore them a bit, but that didn't work so much. Especially with April involved. She followed him everywhere he went and hugged him from behind. Not leaving him alone at all.
"Because we love you!" April kindly reminded him.
"Right…" the Minotaur didn't exactly know what to say.
"I'm glad you two are an in a decent mood," September mentioned to them. Marching forward at the head of the group.
"We are. But you still have to tell us why you suddenly abandon us back at camp. You were nowhere to be found when we woke up and that we were ambushed by this fucker of Lord Monsoon," Junk still wasn't at peace with the reality that they abandoned them for apparently no good reason. The recently restored magical, Minotaur knight armor that Junk was wearing was shining more than ever under the warm and soothing sunlight. It was so shiny that it was glowing quite a bit. The dark red that the amour possessed had never looked this beautiful. It was a real treat to be looking at. Now, Junk wasn't looking at it that much, but April could barely take her eyes off of it. First, she had his incredibly juicy and veiny cock that she couldn't take her eyes off of, and then, his newly restored, shiny, red armor. She would never be able to take her eyes off of her. Never. Which she honestly didn't mind too much.
"That's true. I'd like to know as well…" April mentioned, saying these words, still without being able to take her eyes off of Junk's beautiful armor. She stopped hugging me. Walked right beside her man… Or her half-demon rather. The group turned silent.
"For one time, I personally believe that I owe you an explanation. And yes, I had a good reason for leaving you the way I did, back at camp. But I promise you, I've never abandoned you. I never did. You might not believe me on that, but I would never abandon you. When you both woke up, I was no longer with you, because I had been alerted by Pepo that Lord Monsoon was in the proximity. I was told… We were told that he was going to attack and invade the witch village that night… The village that I loved so much… But we were right. I was wrong. He was close. But attacked us, instead. He attacked the camp. He attacked you while I was gone, while I was doing scouting work to make sure he wasn't invading the village during the night… Needless to say that I was at the wrong place at the wrong time…" September explained to them as they continued walking on the road of the Halloween kingdom. Traveling in a clearing where the grass was of a gorgeous, marmalade, orange color. The day sky was red. A pastel and leathery, Fall red. Beautiful.
"Is that even the truth?" the Minotaur questioned her.
"Junk. Don't be so suspicious. She seems to be truthful this time. Give her a chance. Would you?" April poked his chest.
"I swear, half-demon. This is the absolute truth," she said.
"It better be. Because I am definitely going to ask Pepo the next time I see her. She will tell me if you are lying or not," he said.
"Good. Ask her. She is going to tell you," September replied.
"I believe Pepo is going to be honest regarding this," April mentioned. Smiling. The group became a bit less uncomfortable to be in since the Autumn witch had shared her truth about the matter.
"Damn! That was a hell of a stressful and dangerous time back at the village! I am sort of relived that we are leaving the place. I only hope we can find Debra soon and that she is going to be alright. She didn't deserve this. And she was cute. I hoped I would have been able to fuck her. Still hoping it happens," Junk said to the others.
"What do you mean? Cuter than me? Um…" April cleared her throat. "Yeah… I mean… You're right… She didn't deserve what happened to her. Even though she went to Lord Monsoon by herself and all. She shouldn't have done that. I hope she's alright…"
"I'm sure she is…" September tried reassuring the two of them.
She is surely not… September thought at the exact same moment during which she tried cheering them up.
"So, where are we going this time, Witch Queen? What's the plan? What's our next quest? Our next goal?" the Minotaur desperately wished to know.
"What are we doing, chief!" April adorably asked her as well.
"Our crusade is not over yet. Lord Monsoon will be back. Soon. We have to become more powerful and independent. We have to repair the broken cauldron of my teacher. We have one piece that we obtained from that ghoul, but there are so many more still to find," the former Witch Queen explained to the two.
"Oh, right…" April said.
"I wonder who broke that cauldron…" Junk mentioned.
