Chapter 18 - Aura

Chapter 18: Aura

"I hope she is pregnant by now. Again," that was one of the main things September kept thinking about as she personally explored another section of the cave by herself. Having left Junk and April alone, so they could reproduce again, she was clearly on a set path to find something in the dark and uncharted tunnels of the cave.

Once again, she was opening herself the way and lighting up the path ahead of her using her magic. Conducting useful mana into her jack-o-lantern breastplates. Making them shine bright with this vibrant orange color. If her mana was a bit low earlier and the light of her two lanterns slowly fading away, it was now back to full power. Taking a short break in the room earlier with the others and feeding Junk some of her delicious mana milk truly had done something on her. The fact that she had been losing some mana through her milk to then feeling better and having more power was sort of contradictory. Yet, it had worked pretty nicely. For her, for this witch, it was a bit like exercising and doing a good run. Sure, the runner can be drastically tired after the run, initially, but the exercise was exactly what would be making that person feeling better afterward, after exercising. The same thing could be applied here with September. She spent a bit of energy. She had spent a bit of mana to feed and re-energize the Minotaur, and after taking a momentary pause in the larger room earlier with the others, she was feeling a lot better, and she had more mana. Giving something to obtain something, basically.

The former Witch Queen continued to walk and explore the darkness of the cavern while being away from the others. She eventually stopped as she had made it to a circular room with a seriously low ceiling to it. She looked around after stopping.

A moment of silence as she studied the room and lighting it up, bit by bit, inch by inch. Taking her time to look around properly.

"I know you are in here. Somewhere," September spoke.

Nothing was heard in return. No answers here.

"It might have been a long time since the last time we saw each other, but I will never be able to forge your powerful smell."

"Why would you come back to me?" a voice asked her.

"There you are. You finally decide to show up, Arakdart," she said his name as the dark silhouette of what appeared to be a monster, crawling down the side of the circular wall of the room. The creature was nearly double her size in terms of height and width. The beast had eight legs as well as two humanoid arms. The creature was a monster spider. When September tried to illuminate him a bit better, it swiftly crawled and moved away from the light of her boob-lanterns. Avoiding the light at all costs. Frightened by it. However, even though, she couldn't see or observe him as properly as she desired it, she still fully remembered how he looked. The spider monster, Arakdart, didn't only have eight legs and two frontal humanoid arms. He also possessed eight different genitals. Yes, eight spider penises spread out all around his body, above his spider legs and eight different sets of hairy testicles as well. These were exactly what she desired to observe the most by lighting him up.

"Tell me the reason why you came to disrupt my sleep."

"To be fair with you, I wasn't even certain you were still alive, old relic," she said to him, mocking him, perfectly knowing he was still alive and well. Well, alive, yes. Well? Not so much.

"You knew. Oh, you knew. Just like, I also know you were banned and chased from the guild. You must be hunted now."

"Wow. News travels fast in the kingdom. Even in the darkest of places. Even in the lamest and most forgotten caves," she told him.

"One last time: What do you want from me, September?"

"From you? Not so much, to be honest. I have a new guardian," she mentioned to him.

"Oh, really?" Arakdart replied to her.

"Alright. To be fair, I just need to be on my side. One last time. When the rest of my army is ready. I want you to join us and support us when I retake control over the guild," she commanded him.

"Why would I help you and support you in doing something so reckless?" the spider monster asked the former Witch Queen.

"Because that's what I'm demanding you to do for me."

"How do you think you are going to retake anything now?"

"I will reform quartet. That's how," she briefly explained.

"You want to put the four of you back together?" he asked.

"..." she didn't say anything this time. She simply nodded.

"Then, you must be the craziest slut I've ever met in my life. Your quartet will never be brought back together. You are out of your mind. You have lost complete grasp on reality at this point."

"Are you going to join me or not when the time comes?"

"Never, Witch Queen. Never."

"Then, it was a big mistake for me to come here in the first place," she admitted to him as she slowly and erotically turned around. Showcasing her beautifully thick legs and her large squishy ass as she spun around. She didn't do this to arouse him, but it clearly had that effect.

"I will leave you to rot here. Alone."

"Rotting? That part is right. Alone? You got it wrong. It has been some time now that I am no longer alone in this," he said to her. Then, all of a sudden, smaller spiders, humanoid-monster-spiders roughly half her size, half her height, showed up from the shadows and surrounded her. Four monster spiders sneaked up on her. September didn't look surprised at all. Far from it.

"You are making a big mistake," she said to him.

"No. You did. And your two other friends are going to pay the price for it," he revealed to her.

"Don't you dare touch them," she warned him.

Back in the orange-lit room, Junk and April both witnessed the mysterious apparition of a horned silhouette. A shadow that vanished almost as soon as it happened.

"Junk, what was that?" April asked him.

"I have no idea," of course, he had no idea, but the bull was so surprised by this sudden apparition on the other side of the room that it left him losing his sense of braveness a bit. However, as the shadow vanished from the room just like a ghost, something nearly as creepy and strange occurred. The bright orange lights in the room began flickering out of nowhere. Then, something odd happened with the stalactites above their heads. They began cracking. Something nobody between Junk or April had seen coming or expected at all. They could hear the alerting cracking sounds. The old rocks fissuring and breaking apart. This couldn't be good. This wasn't good at all, and they knew it. They just didn't know what to do.

"Junk. Why are the rocks above cracking and breaking?"

"Don't know. But I don't think they are breaking," he said.

"Why? What makes you say that?" she asked him, confused.

"I don't think they are rocks either," he went on.

"Okay. Now, I really don't know what you are talking about. Of course, they are rocks, they are stalactites," she mentioned to him.

"Are you certain of that?" he asked her. Point-blank.

"What do you mean? We should get out of the way now."

"No. They are not rocks. They are eggs," he announced.

"What? How do you know that for sure?" she asked him.

"Look. It's not breaking. It's hatching right before our eyes," the Minotaur said to her as the green-haired elf took a closer look, even though she couldn't truly look too much closer since the stalactites or potential eggs were up on the ceiling. That, combined with the fact that the natural lights in the cavernous room continued to flicker. Everything was making it harder and harder for her to take a closer and more studied look at whatever was above their heads up on that ceiling. The lights continued to flicker and every time the lights quickly came back on, she was able to see more and more of the rocks breaking or the eggs hatching. The same cracking and fissuring sounds were heard there and there. Making all of this even stranger and eerier. However, a minute or so until the lights continuously flickering, the rocks above cracked open even more than ever before and something came out of a bunch of these rocks.

"Oh, Lord, something came out of the rocks," April said.

"Stay back! I will protect you!" Junk shouted. Bravely.

"My hero," April blushed as she stayed behind. She squealed as well. Even though she was frightened, she was deeply excited about the fact that this hulking and brave Minotaur was going to be taking care of things for her. A total of three shadows came out of the rocks above their heads and landed on the ground. The orange continued to flicker, which made this difficult to see where these things had landed. They disappeared for the longest time until one of them suddenly showed up for the first time again. Jumping high in the air was one of the same nightmarish and disgusting monstrosities that had happened earlier in the room with September. Smaller and shorter versions of Arakdart, the spider monster. The Minotaur successfully managed to avoid him as he jumped his way. At the last time, really. Then, the second one showed up as well. And then, the third one too. Sooner than they saw it coming, Junk and April were surrounded by the trio of spider-humanoid creatures. They were now taking their time. Slowly crawling and making their way closer to the beast. They didn't care much about him. They definitely wanted April for x reason. But the tall Minotaur was in their way. They had to take him down before gaining access to the busty elvish girl.

"Okay. So, you were right, they were eggs or something."

"Do you know what they want from us?" he asked her.,

"I have no idea. Probably not having tea with us."

"We'll see," then, Junk waited for them to come to him. When they like the moment was right, two of them swiftly jumped at him. Together, they were a lot stronger. Two spiders took care of him. Immobilized him a bit as the third one was seen crawling around the wall, sneaking up behind April through the darkness. With Junk taken care of, the third spider surprised April and then nearly pushed her down on the ground but thanks to her acrobatic skills, she managed to escape right in the nick of time.

She fought and fought.

"Leave me be!" she yelled at him as she ran away from them.

However, the spider surprised her again by revealing his eight spider-cocks. Pointing them all in the direction of her face. But the spider and its dicks never touched her.

The next moment, she continued running away, but she never tried escaping.

She stayed closer, so she wouldn't leave Junk alone.

Speaking of which, on the other side of the flickering room, Junk desperately tried keeping up with the two other spiders. With no weapon to his disposition, he manged to kick one and punch the other, but it was never anywhere near enough to stop them. They kept coming back at him and crawling and spinning all over his body.

"Ugh, April. Don't worry. I'm coming for you. April?"

"Pathetic!" a mysterious voice was suddenly heard.

"What was that now?" the Minotaur asked himself out loud.

"You are no Minotaur."

"What?" then, he saw it, the horned shadow from before. It was right there on the edge of the room. Staring at him. "Who the fuck are you?"

"I used to be the guardian of this dungeon," it said to him.
