Chapter 11 - Mission Accomplished?

Haman was never a procrastinator.

A procrastinator would never survive in the wilderness.

It's not easy to trap a dinosaur with a trap. If it's not necessary, it was better to trap the dinosaur with a surprise for a while.

It was enough to get rid of the dinosaur during this time.

Haman arched himself and walked through the lush grass.

Because the dinosaur was mighty, the location of the trap had to be selected.

It could not be a place where the dinosaur did not come, nor could it be a place where there were too many dinosaurs.

If the dinosaur did not come, it was, of course, impossible to catch them.

But if there were too many dinosaurs, then no matter what the trap was.

He would be trampled to pieces by a group of dinosaurs.

Nothing could resist a group of dinosaurs. And this was a lesson that humans had learned with countless blood and lives.

It was a sizeable oval-shaped lake right in front of Haman.

He was standing at one end of the Oval.

The other half of the Oval was surrounded by mountains.

If he wanted to get to that half oval, he would either have to go over the mountains or pass through the hunting grounds of the Microraptor.

Moreover, even if he went in there, It was like catching a turtle in a jar once the Microraptor discovered him.

Therefore, Haman could only set traps here, and it was best to stay away from them.

According to Haman's understanding of the dinosaurs in the wilderness, it was not easy to trap them.

They would not be injured.

When they were trapped, they all struggled hard.

He twirled the weeds around him.

Then he looked satisfied. "The grass is good."

It was much better than the dead grass in the wilderness.

You could crush the withered grass in the wilderness into powder easily.

But there would only be a few marks on the turquoise grass even if he creased them a little.

Lying in the haystack, Haman thought as he wove the rope with the grass leaves.

"What should I use as bait?"

After all, Haman had nothing on him now. He was penniless.

If he had to use meat, he had to go hunting.

Besides Haman, there were only dinosaurs in this place as living creatures.

But he couldn't beat any of them.

"What about vegetarian food?" This place is full of grass, and why did those dinosaurs have to eat in his trap?

Haman had never encountered such a problem in the wilderness.

Although there were many dinosaurs in the wilderness, at least some species were left from the past.

But they were all much more significant.

According to the old priest, the mosquitoes were as giant as the dragonflies of the past.

If you wanted to ask how giant dragonflies were now?

The old priest didn't mention it, and Haman had never seen one either.

But even if it was a mutated creature.

Haman could capture it as long as it wasn't a dinosaur.

He would use it as bait.

But now, he really couldn't think of anything that could be used as bait.

He was thinking hard but didn't stop moving in his hands.

In the blink of an eye, a grass rope appeared in his hands.

Of course, the grass rope wasn't strong enough at this time, so he had to weave it again and again.

When the grass rope gradually became round and more than ten meters long.

It was getting gradually dark.

It seemed that there was also day and night in this place.

The night was coming, so it was even more unsafe here.

According to Haman's experience, if the wilderness were a dangerous place full of fierce beasts during the day, nature would become a carnival of ferocious beasts at night.

No matter how different it was from the wilderness, Haman understood that his vision at night was not as good as the dinosaurs.

And he must be courting death using a trap to catch the dinosaurs at night.

Then he returned to a tree hole that he had seen during the day carefully according to his memory.

The outside was covered with sparse long grass, ensuring concealment without affecting his observation of the situation.

With the strong willpower he had developed over the years, Haman only slept five minutes at a time.

He didn't want to be ignorant when those enemies were approaching.

Haman wasn't worried about his safety since he had experienced this many times before.

He only worried about what would happen to Holly.

"Will Holly keep watch for him because he sees that I will not wake up?"

Looking at the three moons in the sky, Haman was a little worried.

The moonlight was like water pouring down on the grassland.

For some reason, Haman saw the situation on the grassland clearly with the light of the moon.

The night here was far less crazy than in the wilderness.

Although it was a little more dangerous than the day, there were only a few more roars.

Five minutes and after another five minutes, it was already morning.

Haman looked at the enormous red sun rising from the mountain on the other side of the lake.

The dew on the grass was gradually evaporating under the sunlight.

He knew that it was the best time to set up a trap.

It was just morning, and no dinosaurs would come to the lake to get water because of the dew left at night.

When he set the traps while the thirsty dinosaurs would come to the lake to drink at noon, he would only have to take advantage of the situation at this moment.

After finding a big tree, he tied one end of the rope to the tree's thick branches and tied a knot on the other end.

To be honest, Haman still couldn't think of anything to use as bait.

In the end, he could only gather a bunch of the most tender grass leaves and use them as bait.

He didn't know if it would work.

After putting the grass leaves in the middle of the knot, Haman added a net to the trap.

Then he hid in the tree and waited for the dinosaurs to pass.

He had made a careful observation yesterday.

And found that there were no other dinosaurs that could climb trees other than Microraptor.

Even Microraptor was not very good at climbing trees.

He watched the red sun slowly moved toward the top of his head.

Haman chewed on the bark.

He only chewed out the sweet water and stuffed the remaining residue into the gaps of the tree trunk.

Those were all cellulose, and humans could not digest them.

Seeing the dinosaurs walking past one after another, Haman did not panic.

So far, six dinosaurs had seen the grass ball.

They were all interested in the grass ball, but unfortunately, none stuck their heads out to eat it.

Haman felt that maybe the human smell on the grass ball was too strong, and it would be fine after it dispersed.

Haman was now patient enough.

When he did not have a headache in the past, it was not difficult for him to find a safe place in the wilderness and stay there for three to four days.

Finally, Haman's efforts didn't go in vain.

A Microceratus poked its head out, looked around, and it was carefully eating the fresh and tender grass leaves.

Haman pulled the knot around him, and a branch that had trimmed with only components left bounced up.

The knot quickly contracted, and they hung in the air together with the Microraptor.

"Awesome!" Haman cheered in his heart.

It cost him only one day and one night to capture a dinosaur. It was something worth bragging about.

A cracking sound rang in Haman's ear.

He was too familiar with this sound.

It was the sound of a carnivorous dinosaur walking on the grass with its sharp claws cutting through the leaves.

As expected, a Microraptor jumped up from the ground and bit the Microraptor on its body.
