Chapter 33 - Shot.

My tears suddenly fell freely down my smooth cheeks. I can't hold back the sadness that my best, closest, most useful friend suffers. He is like a brother who replaces me from everything. However, I can't give him more love, I can't love him because I have the right to choose.

His blood splattered deeper into my wound. I fell into this sad incident. Jebran still held me in his arms.

"Calm down yourself, Emira,"

"It's over, let's catch up!" he asked to let go of the hug.

His hand grabbed my wrist to catch the ambulance that had left the warehouse. Someone stopped us, "Jebran, we found his sister."

"Where?" Jebran said.

"Get over here!" pointing Andy gives reassurance.

I ran after Jebran's steps into the basement. Riffat's figure lay limp on the floor. "Then where is my father?"

I spoke, but Jebran covered my mouth to keep from talking about my father.

"I'll explain later," Jebran said looking at me.

Jebran climbed the stairs to call someone. "Hey, someone's dying here!" His screams were so loud above. I just watched Riffat's body weaken and glanced at me in fear. The medical team got Riffat out safely. I bit my lip slowly, then followed the medics.

"Go with me," Jebran said pulling my hand.

"Yes," I said simply.

His steps drag my path so as not to move away from him. I got into his car, but watched him. Jebran turned back to me. "Why?" he asked.

"Ah no!" I shook my head.

"Luckily I've changed my robe," Jebran muttered to himself.

The clothes he was wearing now were a little ordinary, even though he was wearing a jet black robe filled with combat equipment. Jebran recalled the events that had ended earlier.

"Let him go!!" Jebran shouted launching a bullet at Mehmed.

Dorr!!!

The shot hits Mehmed's knee, and leaves a gap for Dilan to counter. Out of control, Dilan beat Mehmed hard. "I'm sorry, Father-in-law." Jebran mumbled a low grimace.

Mehmed was protected by several men and led to the back door, where they fled. Dilan tries to fight back and chase, but shots are fired at him.

Regarding the left side of the stomach.

Ah!"

He held his stomach by pressing it, blood was flowing and wetting his palms. Jebran swiftly slid his weapon towards the man who was trying to escape.

Dorr!!

As a result, they cannot be chased back. Two colleagues approached Jebran. "Go! We'll take care of it."

Jebran finally came back and ran into a room and changed into his normal clothes. He immediately called an ambulance from his cell phone. "In an empty warehouse, Jalan Batu Indah number 234, there is one person seriously injured."

Jebran closed his cell phone again, and put it in his trouser pocket. He immediately ran towards the room looking for Andy and Riffat. After a few minutes, an ambulance and the crowd arrived.

***

Jebran again shocked by the memories. His hands are weak and helpless against the enemy in front of his eyes. "I'm sorry, Emira. I didn't mean to harm Dilan." Jebran muttered to himself occasionally glancing at me in worry.

I can only bite my lip staring at the street. Everything I've been through is just the beginning. This is not the end, but the beginning of all trouble.

When we arrived at the hospital, Jebran and I immediately followed to the operating room. Someone was standing behind the door waiting for the results that were inside.

"Fredi," I called seeing the figure of Fredi who was shaking his head.

"Ah, Emira," he said turning around.

"Is the operation already underway?" Jebran asked.

"It has been just a moment." Freddy waved his hand. "Come on, let's sit here!" Fredi take.

"Come on, Emira!" Jebran asked to pull my arm.

I just stared at the operating room with all hope. Maybe there's still a chance to live and I'll be grateful.

"Is Riffat all right?" I asked to Jebran.

"He's been brought here. Maybe, he's being treated," Jebran answered

I went, "I want to see him. He has no one here. Moreover, he is a mentally retarded person." I swung my body looking for the road, while Jebran still followed me.

I looked for the first treatment room, one by one I checked. And almost everyone does not indicate that he is a man named Riffat.

"Maybe there," Jebran said.

I walked to the corner of the room and opened the veil wide. It turned out that Riffat was actually lying with a face that was still innocent and pale. He fell asleep on a bed that was very foreign to him.

I approached the weak Riffat. "You'll be fine, won't you? Your sister will be fine, we won't let you hurt again," I moaned.

"Emira, don't cry anymore," Jebran fretted.

"We have to wait until Dilan recovers. He can't possibly have to stay alone," I suggested.

"I'll take him home," I decided.

"What?!!" he shouted.

"Why?" I struggled with Jebran's screams with my decision.

"He's a man, how could he stay at your place. Let me take care of him," suggested Jebran.

"If you work, can you leave him alone?" I asked worriedly.

"I'll ask my friend to look after him for a while," Jebran said with a serious expression.

Suddenly my expression changed, I pulled a small smile at him. "Hey!" My hand covered my mouth as he said with glaring eyes. It seemed she was jealous of this imperfect man.

"Are you jealous?" I started teasing him.

"Eh, no. That's not what I meant. I feel uncomfortable seeing the boy living with you," he lamented.

"Thank you, Jebran." I hugged Jebran's wrist warmly. My eyes caught his handsome look with my smile. Preventing my offer means reducing the burden of my life.

Jebran lowered his gaze while blushing. This is the first time I've seen a man who is cold but shy towards me. No wonder he never got women easily.

***

On the other hand, Jebran and I can finally be freer outside the hospital garden. I walked with him. Oh! No, I mean we walked together enjoying the park at night. In the hospital it provides a little comfort, overgrown by blooming flowers is a therapy for eyesight.

The atmosphere is tense, restless, cramped. If we see flowers blooming, we will feel better. As an element of building the soul and mind to be good.

"You know what? When I was little I hated hospitals," Jebran said beside me.

"Why?" I asked.

"I don't like the smell of medicine, the pungent smell of vomit, disinfectant, etcetera."

"My father once told me to become a doctor, but I resisted."

"I'm a naughty child. So, I try to be free and become an independent person."

"Even I live alone, and buy an apartment," said Jebran.

"Wow! Why did you refuse? I can't refuse my mother either," I said.

"This is life. We can't follow all the orders of our parents. The future is in each other's hands. At that time I was someone who was very down, but now look at me!" Jebran turned his body to block my path.

"Hey! Hahaha. Yes, you're an arrogant CEO!" I snapped past him.

"Emira," Jebran complained.

"Jebran, Emira!!" Fredi shiuted from behind us.

"Dylan," i screamed.

I turned around at the same time as Jebran who was suddenly amazed. What's really going on? I continued to read the look on Fredi's face.
