Dilan's my best friend pulled my wrist tightly. My body attracts by energy in an instant.
My eyes looked softly at Jebran and his friends.
Jebran just stood still stare at my departure.
I hope he pulls me back to refuse to let me go.
Ah! Why can I think like that? I groaned inwardly a ridiculous glimmer of hope flashed through my mind.
In front of Dilan's car, we stopped walking. "Come in for a moment!" Dilan opened the door for me while I did what he wanted.
"What is it?" I asked curiously.
Dilan locked the car door tightly then looked at me, "Shhh! I want you to be on guard."
I furrowed my brow, "What's wrong?"
"Anyway, you do what I want. Don't ever meet each other! If you feel uncomfortable or need help, call me by phone, ask for help from my friends," said Dilan with his eyes around.
"What's the matter with you?" I tried to stop his rolling eyes.
"Dylan!" I shouted.
He cast his gaze right in front of me. Until my heart instantly fade, with cold sweat that began to embrace me.
"Eh... Dilan, what's the matter?" my chap.
"Emira, I don't want you to get hurt. So, I just wanted to talk about this. I have to work out of town. So don't go looking for me!" he orders.
"Dilan, I know! I know why you suddenly said this to me?! Did my father come to Jakarta?" I guessed all this for the sake of this close friendship.
Dilan returned to his sitting position upright.
With a sigh, he began to say, "You'd better take my word for it."
Dilan got out, then walked towards the car door near me.
I just stared in silence as his hand began to open the door for me.
"Go home! I know you brought a car," said Dilan without a friendly face.
I glanced at him that was just silent while keeping a secret.
I lifted my feet from the car, then looked at Dilan with anger.
"Dilan, don't ever try not to say anything! Say what you want to say!" I groaned.
Dilan ignored my face and, his body was away to the driver's door.
"Dilan! Did my father come here?!" I shouted.
Dylan was silent as he looked down.
"Dylan!" I shouted again.
Bringing my annoyance, finally, my steps approached Dilan that was just silent and submissive.
Spontaneously I grabbed his shoulder and shook him repeatedly.
"Dilan, tell me! Tell me that my father came to see you! Tell me what you found and saw!" my chap.
"Dilan, you are my best friend. Tell me everything! I beg you, don't keep your mouth shut! You are a policeman, not a useless child!!" I snapped in front of him.
Suddenly his body hugged me, jokingly hugged me warmly. What's wrong with him?
"I have to go back! I have to meet my sister that is in pain," she whispered in my arms.
From a distance, Jebran saw the unpleasant atmosphere.
It was as if he had seen nothing and had finally returned.
All those who pass will not understand their current condition.
"Dilan, this is a public place. Can you let go of this hug!?" I asked to relax my emotions.
Dilan slowly let go, then looked at me sadly. "I will be back." His fingers let go of my shoulders, loosening his body and turning around.
"Dylan," I called softly.
"Hem, I hope you can wake up with my choice." Dilan nodded slowly, ducked quietly, and walked towards the car door.
He entered and left me pensively silently.
I, who myself can only feel and guess what has happened.
My steps pounded the streets with my silent wailing.
The wind brushed against me through my almost sweaty shirt.
I grabbed my car keys to return to the most comfortable place I lived, which was my own house.
When I pulled the car door, but it was so hard to open it. Someone grabbed my hand, and I jumped from the grip. Then I turned to the person behind me.
Jebran pulled me spontaneously.
"What are you doing with Dylan?" he asked me.
I started to open my mouth, "E—e I, I was...."
"Are you and Dilan dating?" Jebran threw a question that seemed to make me numb.
Why this person? How could he be such a good person to me?
"How is that possible? He is my best friend. He said he would work out of town. But..." I stopped as I watched his grip.
"But what?" Jebran released his grip.
"Hey, never mind! Why would a boss want to interfere in my matters," I complained?
"You think I'm an arrogant boss, don't you? I heard it from my friend earlier," said Jebran.
Instantly my face flushed red when he said what I said.
"But it's true? You're a very arrogant boss!" I groaned.
"You?!" Jebran hissed while pointing at me with his finger.
I ignored him and got into the car. His face filled with emotion that began to well up.
I began to focus on my steering wheel, then left him was clearly showing his anger.
"Hey, you impudent woman! How dare she talk to her boss like that!" Jebran grumbled and throwing his hands away.
"Even though I came here to entertain him. But, I went the wrong way," complained Jebran back to the garden.

Dilan entered the house in such a hurry. He quickly grabbed his cell phone to call someone.
TOOT!!!
Dylan: "Hello."
Someone: "Hello, what's up?"
Dilan: "Please take care of my sister! I will not let my sister fall on Uncle Mehmed."
Someone: "Okay. I'll call you again soon."
Dilan: "Take him to a safe place."
Dilan ended the conversation on his phone. His face was a little worried and, his steps were getting erratic.
"Emira, I'm sorry. I had to lie to you. I don't want you hurt by your father," Dilan muttered while wringing her hair.
"For the time being, I have to ask Jebran for help," said Dilan.
That night, the night most people have been waiting.
However, for Dilan and Jebran, it was a different day.
The two of them sat opposite each other in a cafe.
Accompanied by iced coffee and snacks.
Jebran looked at Dilan with a question mark on his forehead.
"Hey, what do you want to say?" asked Jebran.
"I want to ask for help from you," said Dilan.
"Why?" asked Jebran.
"Please take care of Emira for me!" Dylan asked.
"Huh, what?!" Jebran groaned.
"The story is very long. Emira's to be sought by her father. Behind that, her father wants to sell Emira. Meanwhile, I have to return to Lampung to protect my brother that will be a threat," said Dilan.
"So, you mean. You asked me to look after Emira?" interrupted Jebran.
"Well, you're right! Can you do it for me? I'm sorry. I'm a policeman, but I'm in a dilemma because of this," complained Dilan.
"But don't blame me if I don't do my best to protect her," said Jebran.
"I'll be back. I trust you because you are the boss," said Dilan.
"You're so weird! You're a policeman, but why ask me for help?" Jebran complained.
"I don't know what to do? I need time to catch her father. I want to hear Emira's decision for her father," said Dilan.
The two of them stopped talking and looked at each other confused.
Jebran, who was silent, didn't know what to do? Now, the burden will fall behind his back.
Jebran CEO had to hear a request from a policeman who was in a dilemma, Rejected or accepted? Jebran hasn't decided yet.
Emira was sitting pensively behind the walls of her room, staring at the dark sky. Free scattered stars.
They seemed to be looking at each other from different places.
You will find surprises in the next chapter.
