Chereads / I have to Love You (English Version) / Chapter 9 - Riffat, his brother who was left far behind.

Chapter 9 - Riffat, his brother who was left far behind.

Dilan was pensive while controlling the steering wheel of his car. For a moment, he drifted into a dream of the past.

Dilan walks near the old house in his hometown—Lampung.

Someone was torturing his sister right in public near the hallway of an old building. Immediately Dilan followed and listened.

"A-kyu... N-no ta, you know!" said the younger brother, whose body was like a child's.

Dilan peeked from behind the wall.

Look at his younger brother be tortured by Mehmed's men in the middle of an empty building hallway.

And what do they do?

"Whoa!!" shouted Mehmed.

Dilan was shocked and then hid in an empty room.

Mehmed approached his two men angrily.

"What are you doing?!" Mehmed growled.

"We just want to interrogate him, Chairman," said one of his colleagues.

"Stupid! He is an idiot. How can you say that," said Mehmed aloud.

"But he just saw us handing over that thing, Chief!" said one of the men.

"Oh, that! Don't worry. He won't say it. After all, a person like this will lose his memory! Come on, quickly leave this place! Don't let anyone see," Mehmed ordered to bring his two subordinates.

Dilan started to sneak out when the three scary men walked away from the hallway.

He saw his little brother was a little scared by hugging his knees. The petite young man warily hugged his knees.

"Riffat!" called Dilan, and then his brother's body cheered up.

"Haag! Brother? I-I I was attacked by that-that people."

"Well, you better go home first. Don't ever go far from the house. Come on!" asked Dilan while holding his brother's hand firmly.

The man was mentally handicap and often frightened, with a childlike face.

However, the age difference is only about two years younger than Dilan. Since his birth, the mother returned to the house of cancer which instantly gnawed at her body.

Dilan stared far away at Mehmed and his two subordinates with fierce, competing gazes.

Whatever the power, he is a father to his own best friend.

TINNN!!!

The horn of racing cars almost hit someone.

Jebran jumped from the shock that almost hit the person in the middle of the street.

"Ah!" he growled.

With low emotions, Jebran got out of the car door to see what had happened.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, young master!" said one man in a shirt.

"Are you okay?" asked Jebran is a little worried.

The man tidied up all the books and paper files scattered on the street.

"Hey, you're a Prosecutor?" asked Jebran began to help.

"Oh, yes. How did you know?" call the man.

"Your ID is still hanging in your shirt pocket," said Jebran, pointing to a name tag.

"Oh! I almost forgot about this. I've just been at work, so I often forget to put it back in my bag." The man put the ID in his briefcase.

Jebran helped tidy up all the scattered files and books.

"Thank you for helping me, young master!" said the man while looking down.

"I'm guilty of being a little drunk," he said.

"Well, that's fine." Jebran looked at the man with a faint smile.

"Arsenio? That's a cool name!" Jebran muttered back to the man.

That face is familiar and, she must be Emira and Dilan's best friend.

Help save Emira from her father. Yes! The driver Dilan that night. That's Arsenio.

Jebran got back into the car to return to his residence.

His wrinkled face began to record in real in front of the car mirror.

"Ah! Why should I take care of that brat! he arguing and always acts indifferent.

When I ordered him to obey, but when his will began to disapprove of me. He will struggle and defend himself," complained Jebran while hitting the control of the car.

"But, he is reliable!" Jebran thought of Emira's overprotective behavior.

"That woman is so strong! I think she can be a reliable person," Jebran muttered.

"But, how could he possibly protect me? Ah, silly!" Jebran grumbled to press the gas pedal.

The car was speeding on the highway seemed so quiet. Jebran parked the car in the parking lot. He started to close the car again with a single press of the lock button.

"Hey!" said one of the men.

Jebran started looking for the source of the sound. Look at the area behind his back.

A man dressed neatly complete, with a black suit that looks arrogant with his arms crossed.

Jebran frowned and just stood still.

"Hahaha! Finally, we meet, Jebran," greeted the man who started walking towards him.

Jebran just stood still and stared silently at the man's emptiness.

His relaxed face shone through all the situations to keep things safe.

"Why are you here?" asked Jebran casually.

"I just wanted to meet you here. But, it turns out we met here," said the man in a mocking tone.

"You're looking for me, Yasar?" short Jebran in his flat tone.

"I want to make sure you remember everything! Everything you remember you should remember for the rest of your life," said the man who greeted Yasar.

"I'll keep that in mind. For now, don't try to interfere with my life. Or Shall we settle it here?" concluded Jebran with a defiant expression.

"Hahaha, wait for me! I also have a lot of things to do. Hope we meet at the right time!" Yasar walked back to a car.

Yasar got into his car, left the parking lot without a warm goodbye.

"Unlucky!" Jebran grumbled his emotional hand against the wall.

Jebran carried his tall body out of the parking lot.

Today's mood is a sunny morning. The cool air hypnotizes me to keep holding my warm blanket.

However, the cruelty of the alarm was so loud to my ears.

Noisy bastard! Grumbling in your heart.

Without turning it off, I went into the bathroom.

My escape the next day was to get back into a routine that I would never tire of its money for sure.

I accidentally met a familiar man walking near our office building.

Arsenio, that man is no stranger.

"Senio!!" I shouted closer to him.

The man who greets Arsenio lifted his chin and watched me from a distance.

"Emir?" he said.

"Hey, why have I just seen you? Have you settled in Jakarta?" I asked excitedly.

Arsenio suddenly changed his face to be very warm. With a sad look, he grabbed my shoulder. "You've changed." Sometimes he taps my shoulder. What's with this guy? that looks like he was like an old, right?!

"I'm going to see your boss. Can you take me?" Arsenio asked me.

"Sure, come on!" let me lead the way.

Accidentally pass forward. Someone we were about to meet was finally standing right between the two of us.

However, his face was not kidding. I feel strange with my boss's gaze. Really! It tortured me when I looked at him. However, I wasn't afraid of him in the slightest.

It's just that I respect him in the right place and under the right circumstances.

He still looked serious then kept his distance between us.

Arsenio held my shoulder tightly. Why again this man? It was as if he was stretching the tension behind my back.

Does this man wasn't scared at first? And not shy about this.

Even in front of my dad thought. I looked at him with suspicion mixed with astonishment.

Jebran attacked us to meet him.

What had happened between them?

You will find surprises in the next chapter.

What do you think will happen?
