Atop the tower, two veiled women dressed in pure white clothing poured salt in to a pool.
The entire floor is made of ridiculously smooth black stone. It's surface is so smooth, the moonlight reflected off the surface like a giant mirror.
In the middle of the floor, there was a gigantic round pool. It's made of similarly smooth black rock. When water fills the pool, one could not tell the difference between sky and floor, with both reflecting off each other.
The salted water even imitated the viscosity of the floor, thus, it looked like a hole is made in a horizontal dive pillar, with sky on both sides.
Twelve gem embedded lanterns were placed around the pool.
Another veiled woman in a silvery flowing robe, with a shining half moon headband on her head, came forward to light the lanterns.
"It's ready, Tal Iza. " The woman waiting inside was informed.
