The city of Valkyrie was the first city empire of Valhalla established outside the dragon island. The dragon lords were the first families to ride dragons, and the most successful till date. All their families treated Valkyrie as a resort, thus, most dragon lord families have a branch in Valkyrie.
Drakon family, which currently ruled eastern empire, used to be nothing but stablemasters of dragon lords.
As the only city that housed descendants of the dragon lords, Valkyrie considered itself above any other city in eastern empire, including the capital Praha.
Similarly, the nobles of Valkyrie looked down on Drakons, and the rest of the human populace.
For all their disgust with creatures on earth, the nobles of Valkyrie are surprisingly aloof.
While the cruelties against the slaves do exist, the nobles of Valkyrie are never as rampant as any of the Drakon family.
The true teachings of Valhalla were to be thanked for that.
