Atreia?
What the fuck is happening.
Ethan couldn't wrap his head around any of this.
"You are currently in the Koskogian Empire. There are 16 other empires here in the world. You have the Orcish and Ogreish races in Stokland to the west. The elves and other feyish races take up A large majority of the western and northern parts of the continent. The humans, us, which make up most of the Eastern half of the continent, dwarves and other artisan races mingle with us here and there," Kazillis continued while Ethan could slowly feel his body return to normal.
"However, even though we humans make up the majority of the population, we are on the weaker spectrum of the races. Many of those that come ahead of us in strength are the feyish and elvish races," Kazillis explained.
"However, currently we are at war with them and the daemons, The daemons are an ancient and powerful race that have recently come out of hibernation," Kazillis said with a grim tone. "With both them and the elves attacking us, as well as, having to deal with monsters, we stand no chance. That is why we have summoned you here today."
"In front of you is the screen, as it has been called before by other heroes. It allows you to get stronger and improve several times faster than a normal human," Kazillis explained.
"Wait, but why us?" Someone in the crowd asked.
"I do not know, our goddess Rethnitria was the one who summoned you to save humanity!" Kazillis spoke in his normal loud tone.
I tried to stand up but the guards forced me back to the ground, their strength was superhuman as I felt one of my ribs crack. I screamed in pain.
AAAGH~
Kazillis turned to me after I screamed, as did everyone else in the room.
"What was that?"
"I heard a cracking sound?"
"That's what he deserves."
I heard people whispering about him around the room.
"You should not hurt him, do not forget that he is also a hero that was summoned by the goddess Rethnitria!" Kazillis told the guard that had shoved me back to the ground.
"Now let him up," Kazillis spoke in an annoyed tone as he looked me up and down. "Now we will begin the appraisal ceremony."
"Appraisal ceremony?" Mr.Criley asked, speaking up for the first time.
"Yes, however, you will not be a part of it," Kazillis said to the old man.
"And why is that?" Mr.Criley asked.
"You are not one of the heroes, you are just a by-product of the summoning," Kazillis said.
All of a sudden, a loud thunderclap-like sound was heard and a magic circle about 4 feet in diameter appeared around the old man's feet.
BOOOOOOOM~
A large white beam of energy fell from the sky and encapsulated Mr.Criley before he disappeared once and for all.
There wasn't a mark left on the white marble flooring. I saw all of this as I was standing up.
I was terrified. Mr.Criley was my last bit of hope in this world with the animals that had been summoned alongside me. Mr.Criley was a bitter old man, but everyone respected him because he was truthful and always took care of his students whenever he could. The only exception, however, was me, and the reason for that was because Jason's parents were the head of the school board and he almost lost his job last time he tried intervening in the situation.
However, now, Jason's parents were nowhere to be found so I was hoping that Mr.Criley would be on my side. I looked back at Jason who was staring right at me with his regular shit-eating grin.
"Where did Mr.Criley go?" Someone asked.
"He went back to your original world," Kazillis said with a disdainful look seemingly annoyed with all the brats he was having to deal with.
"Now, let us begin," Kazillis said and waved his hand and a deep purple light flew from it.
The light covered everyone and shined brightly for a moment. Kazillis pulled out a Clear white crystal and dropped it.
Just before it hit the ground, it started spinning really fast before floating back up and hovering 3 feet above the ground.
"Now, you will all take turns coming up to the crystal and hovering your hand over it. The crystal will forcibly take out some of your mana to determine what class you are and what your system rank. The purple light that just flew into all of you was my mana, I sent it into you to activate your mana," Kazillis said. "Now who would like to go first?"
Jason raised his hand with a massive grin.
"Alright then," Kazillis said and motioned him forward.
Jason walked forward and put his hand above the crystal, a deep red light flew from his hand into the crystal where 6 orbs of the same color appeared. Next, a few large letters that I could not read appeared above Jason. Kazillis looked at Jason astonished.
"Fire and Lava element with a Rank S proficiency," Kazillis muttered to himself and a few of the nearby guards gasped. "Your class is Elemental Warrior."
The entire room went quiet as the ground started shaking and a large sword made of fire and molten stone fell from the sky and floated above Jason for a few seconds before flying into his chest.
AAAAAGGHH~
He screamed in agony as he tore his shirts open to reveal the sword burning its way onto his chest.
After a few minutes, Jason had calmed down and there was a tattoo of the flaming sword on his chest.
"Congratulations, the God of Might and War, Alichete, has given you his blessing," Kazillus said with astonishment.
Jason stood up and turned around before opening his palm towards the ceiling and releasing a deep crimson wave of flames.
After that Jason walked back to his astonished followers and showed off his newfound ability.
"Now, who is next?"
