As the truck continued moving forwards, Jamie sat there staring at the wall on the opposite side of the carriage, with his seat belt on. Besides him, Emily continued to chat to Nicholas.
"You should check out the Gredidine temple when you get there. It's open for everyone to look at."
"They have a temple??"
"Yeap. There's a giant, Stag like creature, created using bronze placed at the very center of the temple, called a Uarok. Apparently, the Gredidine were slaves on the continent of Okeopis, and it helped free them, and opened a space tunnel to this continent. It brokered a deal with the Sherot to allow the Gredidine to claim some land on this continent, and defended them until the Gredidine developed to reach the level of the Sherot, before it disappeared without a trace. The City Fortress of Ragas was built with the Sherot's collaboration, as part of the deal the Uarok made with the Sherot, and is the largest structure the Gredidine has ever built."
"What lifeforms are on the continent of Okeopis?"
"Don't know. The continent of Okeopis is separated by a vast distance. Additionally, an announcement was put up that any humans that run into trouble outside of this continent will not receive any support from the government troops. After that announcement, any enthusiasm for going towards other continents that may have City Guardian level entities, without support, was killed in the cradle."
"What happened to the Gredidine after we defeated them all?No one was willing to say anything about the subject."
"From what my brother told me, the final, large scale battle took place at Ragas, after the City Guardian managed to pick off a Warprince and most of the War Marshals. The battle ended with the land around the city scorched and two Warprinces and most of the other high stage Gredidine incinerated. After seeing the deaths of their Warprinces, the Gredidine fled, and those that managed to evade capture alerted the Gredidine in their cities and they fled. As for those that didn't manage to run fast enough...." Nicholas's voice dropped a pitch and he continued. "Except for the infants, they were all killed. The infants will be studied, and mentally broken and trained to obey humans, before being sold off to be bonded with Battlepet Masters."
Emily's eyes opened, and Jamie sat bolt upright, looking at Nicholas in disbelief. Nicholas gave a wry smile and continued. "I'm sure you can see why people don't want to talk about it. It's not exactly the most pleasant thing to talk about, unless your a H-Supreme fanatic."
The sound of grinding teeth could be heard in the carriage. Jamie eventually managed to open his mouth.
"Why did we take such an extreme measure?"
Nicholas shrugged. "I don't know. For that, you would have to ask the City Guardian. From what my brother told me, she projected the order into the mind of every human on the battlefield from atop the back of her Four Winged Pink Eye Eagle while her Phoenix was incinerating the last Warprince alive on the battlefield."

In a dark cavern, illuminated by a red light, the sounds of screams broke out as a whip swooshed through the air repeatedly, striking flesh. Eventually, the whipping, and the screams that accompanied it stopped, as a creature leaned against the wall in the small cavern, trying to catch it's breath. A manically, female voice rang through the air as the prisoner started laughing crazily. The creature leaning against the wall got up with a snarl, exposing the creature in the red light as it got up and grabbed the human by the throat, and threw her against the wall.
A loud cracking sound could be heard as the human slammed against the cavern wall, falling to the floor, and the creature walked towards the crumbling human. The creature was three meters tall, with a humanoid figure, covered with glistening, green scales. It had spikes jutting up from the back of it's arms, and had a crocodile like head, with a single, red, horn on the top of it's head. It walked up to the petite female crumpled on the wall on the ground, and lashed it's tail around her, lifting her up so it could look at her face to face.
"You will tell me what I want to know."
The female spat in the Gredidine's face. As the Gredidine wiped the saliva from his face, the female opened her mouth and said out loud.
"I will tell you nothing." The female broke into maniacal laugh, and she continued. "Look at you. A mighty Gredidine Warprince, hiding out in the caverns like a rat. How the mighty has fallen."
"At least I wouldn't stoop to being tortured on behalf of a group I sought to ambush. You should have stayed slinking in the shadows as I sought to recapture my Zaututors, and prey on your own kind when I had left."
The female sneered. "I sought to ambush them for humanities benefit. Quad Element Beasts should be studied, not nurtured and strengthened. However, we would gain nothing if an adversary were to take it away."
The Gredidine laughed, letting out a guttural noise, that exposed it's razor sharp fangs.
"So THAT is what you and your group were after." The female flinched, as the Gredidine continued "A Quad Element life form would be a nice trophy, along with recapturing my Zaututors."
The women looked straight in the Gredidine's eyes and she sneered. "You can't find them."
"But you can. I WILL break you, Yara, and you will help me find them."

Jamie was leaning against the chair, half asleep, as the truck suddenly started decelerating, jolting him out of his half groggy state. Rubbing his eyes, he looked around the carriage, eyes eventually falling on Emily as she sent a thought in his head.. "Were at the first location Ivan agreed to stop at with Lennox and Taylor."
Once the truck completely halted, Jamie took off his seat belt, and got up, stretching. After Ivan opened the carriage door, he hoped out, landing on brown bushy grass. Outside, the truck was parked to the side of a dirt road, on a large patch of cleared, patch of dirt land. Along the edge of the clearing, trees could be seen sprouting up towards the air, with thick, yellow trunks, and brown leaves and foliage.
Jamie could not help but to feel thankful that he was out of the carriage. He had spent at least four hours bored out of his mind, staring at the walls of the carriage. He couldn't use the time to gather energy either, as the carriage was designed to stop energy flowing into it, so he had nothing to do. He walked towards the front of the truck, following behind Ivan, as he opened the first carriage, allowing the beasts inside to hop outside. After Eve landed on the ground, she looked towards Jamie, and ran up to him, tails wagging. She slowed down as she reached Jamie, and he started to pat her around the ears as Blackwing half ran half flapped his way towards Jamie. Jamie smiled, giving Blackwing a rub around the back of his neck, and Blackwing half closed his eyes in contentment.
After a minute, Jamie made his way to the back of the carriage with his bonded beasts following behind him. Ivan, Lennox, Taylor, Amelia and Nicholas were gathered around the near the back of the carriage. Once he and Emily had arrived, Ivan started speaking, and a map appeared in his hand of the area.
"We are here specifically for the Yellow Scale Deer and the Red Tipped Wolves in the area. What may make things a bit awkward is that the Red Tipped Wolves usually prey on the Yellow Scale Deer in the area, making it impossible to keep together. So, with that in mind, we will be keeping the Red Tipped Wolves in the front carriage, and the Yellow Scale Deer in the second carriage."
"Everyone is to stay within 15 kilometers around the truck. I also want Jamie and Emily to get some practice at trying to tame, wild creatures. The three of us will separate and look in different directions. Jamie will go with me, Lennox will........"
"Wait."
Ivan turned towards Lennox. "Yes?"
"I want to go with Jamie. Since you keep talking so positively about him, I will take this chance to impart to him some of my knowledge as we look for a suitable creature to get."
Ivan shrugged his shoulders. "Sure. I will go with Emily then. Remember, keep your signal flare with you at all times, and stay within 15 kilometers of the truck. Any further, and you step out of Amelia's Earth Sensing Field range."

Jamie followed behind Lennox as he walked towards the bushy brown grass, walking slowly to try and minimize the sound they made as they walked forwards. As they walked, Lennox was sending his thoughts to Jamie.
"What has Ivan taught you about so far?"
"He has taught me a few methods to handle infant beasts, and plans to show me how to handle Grey Paw Wolf pups when we get back. He has taught me some general feeding tips, and some things to watch out for about beast eggs."
"Has he taught you about.....wait."
Lennox stopped, and Jamie stopped after him. Jamie looked ahead to see a baby Yellow Scale Deer ahead..
Lennox thought rang in his head."It's alone. Let's see what you can do."
"But it's beyond the 15 kilometer mark."
