Priest Arts >Removed<
I didn't know what to say upon seeing that, since it was not something I saw before. Plus I was shocked to know that it's in a different format… also about the removed priest art. What was that?
Could it be that all of the priest skills that I should have had… have been removed?
But how can it be? It doesn't make any sense for it to be gone, because it's the thing that should be permanent with me. As I transmigrated into this world as a priest.
Unless something about me being reincarnated again in this world has done something with it. The possibility of that being the reason is quite high. But even so, I can't say that it's 100% the cause of it. As I feel like there's another reason than that, it's just I couldn't figure out what.
Though there's no point in figuring out something that I had no clue about at all. It's just a waste of my time…
Because it's better for me to see what White Arts skill set is… I know some of them had already been explained to me by Aniele before but there's nothing wrong in checking it out myself.
When I do that… There's a bunch of the white arts skills that appear right in front of me. It's a lot more than I expected, as there are like 60 white arts skills here. But I do notice something when I scroll the skill that was included in the white arts skillset.
That part was not unlocked yet, as most of the skills had a lock icon beside it. Though there are like 10 of them that don't have any of that icon.
The other five skills are the ones that Aniele mentioned before. The new five skills that I had unlocked are Holy Weapon, Holy Freeze, and Holy Protection. Those are the three skills that I could use and the remaining two are passive skills. Physical Training and Weapon Mastery… as I realize that it had a buff icon on their name.
I wish I could test all of these skills out right now and see what it does, as I wouldn't want to imagine what it does by judging it by the skills name.
I suppose that I would find a day to test it out… for now, I think it should be better if I head to sleep.
And so I tried to close my eyes. Not knowing if I can keep them shut or not… as my mind keeps playing different scenarios… ones where I find myself being attacked by that man. Or worse yet, Aniele getting stabbed by those knives…
And so I try my best to sleep. Even if it isn't really helping me to do so at all, cause no matter what I do. My mind keeps thinking that something bad will happen eventually… making me unable to sleep.
Suddenly there was a loud sound which made me jump. It seemed like someone knocked on my door… but then I looked down and noticed that no one was standing outside… It must be an accident.
Even though it sounded really loud… it felt kinda weird to me. That means she won't have heard the knock on the door and wake up in a panic.
So after taking a moment to calm down, I decided to check who was knocking. As it's better to check it out that way I might be able to sleep afterward… because for now, nothing I can do could get rid of this horrible thought that something is going to happen.
I get up from bed and walk toward the door… trying hard not to make any noise so that no one will suspect that something is amiss. As who knows that person or something that is making that noise is still lurking down the area.
I cautiously walked outside in silence hoping to see what was really going on outside the house. As this house isn't really close to any other residents in the village. It's quite far from others and that's why I think there's something around…
Of course, I didn't leave the house without any weapon in hand, I at least grab a knife from the kitchen so that if danger arises… I could at least protect myself with that even though it's not the best weapon if I'm up against any monster.
It looks very quiet. I guess part of it was just my imagination… I do admit that I might have been kinda paranoid about this stuff for a little bit and maybe it- Suddenly it felt like I was being watched. Which made me grip the knife tightly and fall backward slowly.
I didn't expect this, but then I turned around towards the direction where I sensed it coming from… to meet a pair of dark eyes staring back at me… and I recognized those eyes immediately, as it was him.
That was the man who helped us…
The man said as he stared at me, "I thought you would be sleeping, this would make my job of killing you even more difficult. However, I suppose I have been too optimistic, I'll have to start over…" He smiled at me and I felt myself shiver involuntarily.
I point my knife to him, holding onto its handle for dear life. "Don't come any closer or I swear I will kill you" I growled. I tried to sound threatening, although his words still rang true in my mind.
He chuckled softly, moving slightly backwards, but not leaving the area where he stood a few feet away from me.
I knew if I tried to attack I probably wouldn't succeed in getting away. My hands were shaking and I could feel sweat dripping down my face as I looked at him while he stared right back at me. I didn't know how long we stood there until he suddenly disappeared...
