Karto's POV
I woke up at six in the morning to wake up Abril so that she could be home before she had to get ready. I walked into the room to find it empty? She must have left earlier. I started my daily morning routine and left for school. Halfway to Johnathan jumped out of the treeline and began to gas lite me.
"Well look who it is boys. It's little human Karto." he jeered.
"Leave me alone Johnathan, and for the record I'm not really much of a human anymore." I spoke flatly.
"Human wants to be like us."
I made a deep wolf growl as he went to reach for my shoulder. He stepped back a step, I took the opportunity to walk by him.
His buddies watched me as I gave them a nasty look. That caused them to growl at me.
Johnathan called grabbing shoulder and turning me around, "Who said you could leave?"
"I did."
"Let me rephrase. Did your Alpha give you permission to leave."
"And who would that be?"
At that remark Johnathan slugged me on the left cheek knocking me to the ground. My cheek was slightly bleeding. I wiped it off and stood up walking away again.
There was silence from behind. I stopped and called behind me, "I'll let this one slide, but be prepared to have you ass handed to you on Friday."
I began walking again and listened as I heard angry footsteps. I was turned around and punched in the face. 'Well here we go.'
Two guys held me up as Johnathan nearly beat the living shit out of me. I felt everything and when it was all done they dropped me to the grass, took my lunch and dumped it, and Johnathan gave me one last kick saying, "Looks like you got your ass handed to you."
The irony of it made me laugh painfully. Next thing I knew i had passed out.
