I immediately felt offended. I want just jump at her a st- what the hell!? That was when I felt something deep in my heart and at that moment time stopped. H's voice echoed, 'Take it easy Karto. You need to be careful!'
"Then tell me what the hell is going on!!" I growled through my teeth.
Let me show you and it might make some sense. My surroundings blurred and I was standing in a dimmly lit forest. The cries of a baby sounded. I looked at the child in the hollow tree. I was confused, "H what am I looking at?"
'Just watch.'
I watched as a female wolf carefully trotted up to the baby, sniff him and carry him off. I was puzzled she didn't carry the child off like food. That meant- OMG.
"There is now way. I can't be. Can it?"
H nodded his silence saying loads.
I was more freaked out now and still I was calm now. Time regained it's movement. I was back in my seat. Abril sat next to me still and I poked her to make sure I wasn't dreaming.
"Hey," she whispered, "what was that for?"
I mouthed, I'll tell you later.
Later after school I met up with Abril. She greeted, "So could you tell me now why you poked me?"
"Yeah," I replied and started walking.
"You know that story Ms. Winters talked about."
"What about it?"
"Well it's hard to explain because you would find me crazy."
"What about showing me?"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"Come with me." I spoke pulling her to a more private area. When we stopped I took both of Abril's hands and said, "I want you to close you eyes and then open then when I say."
"Alright then. I trust you."
She closed her eyes and I froze time and H materialized, 'What is she doing here!?'
'She needs to know.'
"Karto can I open my eyes yet?"
'Ugh, fine.'
"Abril. Open your eyes."
She did so and immediately saw H and hugged me in fear whimpering, "What is that???"
I sighed and spoke, "Abril this is H. He is.."
"Karto I told you this wasn't a good idea. She isn't ready for the truth yet." H spoke his figure performing a face-palm.
