Karto's POV
What did I get myself into. I had something say that for me when she said, 'In bed.' It was like having a second voice in your mind.
Then all of a sudden time stopped. All color turned to darkness. Nothing moved and all I heard was one voice.
At first it was a whisper and it became easier to hear. I was saying my name. Then it stopped and a shadow a man came into focus. White lights rested where eyes should be.
"Who are you!"
It repeat, "Who are you."
"What did you do to Abr-"
"Abril is fine Karto." The figure said, I froze, "Time has been temporarily frozen. It is time for me to talk to you."
"First tell me who you are!"
"Call me H."
"What kind of name is that?"
"The name I will allow you to know until you remember who I am. Now when time returns I want you to just ask Abril here if she has found her mate. Ok." H said pointing at Abril. Why was this guy talking to me?
"Why are you here exactly?" I asked him.
"I am not really here. I am just a projection from within you mind. I'm trapped in your head Karto."
He vanishes and time begins to move again.
I was very confused he said that he was trapped in my head but I felt that there was more to him than meets the eye.
I am not telling Abril about it yet. My mind stopped racing and I was able to think straight.
"Hey Abril?"
"Hmm?"
"I want to ask you a question and I want you to be honest with me." I spoke choosing my words carefully.
She nodded, "Okay what do want me to ask me?"
I took in a breath and asked, "Have you found your mate yet?"
