Abril's POV
I waved to Karto before a ran back home at the sound of my father's voice. He didn't sound pleased. I reached the back steps only to be greeted by my father's powerful figure and crossed muscular arms.
"Why did you leave." He spoke sternly.
"I was training."
"Right, now go to the kitchen and have breakfast."
I sigh, "Yes Father."
I love my father but he is just too protective and overbearing all the time. It is rare for him to treat me as my own person. But since Karto moved in next door he has been on me about where and what I am doing at all times. I just hoped that nothing bad happens.
I sat down in the dinning room and mother set a plate out for me. Thanking her I proceeded to eat my food.
The day went by slowly and I didn't do too much. I just kept trying to get away from my father's love; if that was what it was. I love my father as any werewolf would, but I hated the way he treated me. His concern about my safety had gotten worse as I got older.
After supper I went to my room and sat at my window facing Karto's house.
My wolf aches to be with him, but by law we can't be together just yet. His lights were off which was odd he never really did that before. Then a small lamp flicked on illuminating the room. I saw Karto in his white T-shirt and at that moment he looked out the window directly at me.
