Chapter 5
…..
"I don't know who you are boy, but your gonna regret showing your face to us. You and your friends are done." Said Yukio
"I wouldn't be too sure of that." Said Rikuto as he launched a barrage of Hyouton Kunai
Yukio widened his eyes before evading the Kunai, he easily got out the way and narrowed his eyes.
"That was impressive brat. What's your name?"
"Uzumaki Rikuto." The 9 year old replied before summoning a pair of Hyouton Kunai to his hands.
'Uzumaki? Hm….I wonder….'
Yukio grinned before unsheathing his sword behind his back and running at the boy. Rikuto silently returned the charge clashing his Kunai at his enemy's weapon.

With Ruka
Ruka studied her opponent who grinned as he twirled a Kunai in his hand.
'I recognize this guy. He's Arashi the pillar. Known for his powerful Doton abilities. I hear he's an dangerous as Yukio.' She thought. 'Rikuto-sama….no! I can't afford to worry about others. I have to focus on the battle before me!'
"Yoo-hoo! Anybody there?"
Ruka narrowed her eyes.
"If your worrying about your friends, well…you should be! Yukio-sama won't show any mercy. Even to a kid."
"Enough talk." Said Ruka
"Hn. Fine with me." The Rogue stated
They looked at each other before charging each other and throwing punches through the air. The two evaded each punch that was sent they're way expertly.
Ruka jumped out of the way of a kick, sending a few shuriken sat the enemy before going through a series of hand seals.
"Ninja art; Shadow shuriken jutsu!" Those few shuriken multiplied and turned into over 200 shuriken.
Arashi gasped before moving out of the way, he was fast but even he had trouble with that many shuriken. He didn't get out unscathed as a shuriken grazed his cheek drawing blood while another one embedded itself in his shoulder.
He winced before removing the weapon from his shoulder.
'What an impressive woman!' Thought the former Iwa nin . 'You have my respect.'
Arashi did a series of backflips before grinning. He stared at the enemy before him and then went through a series of hand seals.
"Earth Style; Grovel Spikes!"
Suddenly the ground pointed up at multiple points as it lead to the Kiri shinobi
Ruka gasped before moving out of the way, she had a few close calls but jumping up she managed to escape danger. The brunette grinned. "Your gonna have to try harder than that if you wanna get rid of me Arashi!"
Arashi grinned as well before going through yet another series of hand seals; at the same time Ruka went through a set of her own hand seals.
"Earth release; Earth Dragon Jutsu!"
"Water release; Water dragon Jutsu!"
The two dragons roared as they crashed into one another, the dragon's were aiming to overpower the other.

Back in Kiri
Mei sighed. Even though she tried to stay positive she couldn't help but worry about her grandson.
"Terumi-sama." Hearing her name being called she looked up seeing Chojuro approaching her. She was at a park that she took Rikuto to often.
"I thought I'd find you here." He said
Mei frowned. "I…I can't stop thinking about him. He's only 9 and yet we sent him on a b rank mission...!"
"It isn't your fault Terumi-sama." Said Chojuro. "And he's a strong boy and he has a good team. An amazing team who will look after him."
That was certainly true. Rikuto has always been very strong, whether it came to ninjutsu or taijutsu. Genjutsu wasn't too good of an experience for him but he did know the basics. He was a prodigy. She knew how formidable he was but that didn't stop her from worrying, strength means nothing if the enemy has more experience. She realized that what the boy really wanted was to meet his own father. To get to know him. To know his siblings; so far in life the only family he had ever known was Mei. He deserved the chance at a normal life, well as normal a life as a shinobi could get.
Rikuto was a victim of the world's cruelty. His mother died before he was old enough to remember her. It was sad and Mei knew that more than anything he wished to know more about his mother. Naruto was the only link left to Haku. According to Zabuza Haku was a prodigy that absorbed everything she was taught like a sponge. Just like a certain raven haired Uzumaki. Mei wished that Rikuto knew how much his mother loved him. How much she had sacrificed for him.
"Yeah. He is certainly is." Mei said. "It's a Shame Temari had to leave. Rikuto's gonna miss her."
"Well, she has a family to go back to." Chojuro said softly. "She finished his training, when he returns he's more than likely gonna want to go to his father and siblings."
Mei frowned
"It's what you promised him is it not?"
"I know."
Mei just didn't want him to go. She had lived so long with him, she couldn't imagine life without him here in the village. But Chojuro was right he deserved a chance to get to know his family and Naruto undoubtedly knew more stories about Haku than she did. Mei never knew Haku Afterall.
Zabuza often spoke about her in his letters. He seemed so fond of her, it was in one of those letters that she found out that Haku was like a daughter. Well, technically it was true. He had raised her from an early age and taught her how to become a true shinobi. She was much more than a tool.
Rikuto was always eager to learn more about his mother, but he was just as equally eager to learn more about his grandfather.
"Just believe in him." Chojuro said. "As you always have."
"R-Right."
…..
With Ruka
The battlefield before Ruka had the ground scarred and water everywhere.
Ruka and Arashi breathed heavily. The battle between them taking its toll. She knew the battle would be rough but this was ridiculous! She had never fought someone so strong!
"Let's." Arashi took a breath as if to center himself. Nodding to himself he continued. "Finish this." He grinned
Ruka couldn't agree more, just as he started his hand seals she began her own.
"Earth Release; Earth Shrapnel Jutsu!"
"Water Release; Spears of heaven jutsu!"
Sharpened rocks began to form before flying towards his enemy. Ruka grunted as she did a few back flips before running off to the side evading the rocks as if her life depended on it, and it did.
Ruka managed to get out of the way, aside from a sharpened rock to her leg she was fine.
Arashi however was another story. When Ruka unleashed her move dozens of water spears formed in the sky and while usually he could dodge attacks at high speeds these spears moved at a speed he couldn't even see!
Arashi gasped as the spears struck him, spears exiting his body, blood staining the earth below him. He coughed as blood gurgled up and spat it out. The Iwa Rogue fell to the ground as his vision began to blur.
"What a wonderful battle. I have no regrets….none." Arashi closed his eyes slowly
Ruka fell to the ground on one knee, one eye closed. 'I'm out of chakra...' She thought wincing, closing one eye.
'I just wish I could've done more for Yukio-sama, I wasn't able to Kill my enemy but at least I've taken her out of commission, for now anyways….' Those were his last thought as he passed on from this world and into the next.
Ruka fell over falling headfirst into the ground. After a moment she rolled over. "Ugh…" She could see blotches in her vision forming. 'Eiji…Yosuke…Rikuto-sama be careful. This guys strength wasn't normal…..'
Then she closed her eyes and allow herself to lose consciousness, no point fighting it.
