"No remorse, huh?" Jihyun laughed at her sister figure, Ji Eun, for getting instant karma for what she said a second ago. "Right, does anyone have a napkin?"
Ji Eun was soaked with lemon juice from the mouth of her friend.
Her platinum hair was covered with a hint of saliva.
"I deserved that." the laughing was contagious, it infected her the moment she heard Sookyung's uncontrollable reaction.
The laughing started to die down in exchange for the buzzing of their mouths, talking from one side of the field to the other...
'That's how many of us there are in this circle.'
A hand was placed on Ji Eun's shoulder, she gazed around and saw her best friend's younger sister join them. "Where's Dan?" Ji Eun couldn't see him around so she ended up asking Honey.
"Do I look like his girlfriend?"
That was her monotonous reply which caught them all in a surprise.
"What?"
Jihyun's head turned to them, she dropped her blueberry cupcake and fortunately caught it.
"Did you two fight or something?"
She asked Honey Lou who was now sitting beside her sister, they were all huddled in a circle, leaning on each other or the ground with the picnic cloth spread all over.
She shook her head and rested it on the palm of her hands.
"Then, what happened then, if nothing went wrong between you two?" Sora questioned Honey with Song behind her, fidgeting with the curly Morrocan brunette-haired girl's hands.
"It's nothing." Honey briefly answered, dismissing the topic.
'November is the most hurtful month of all for me, I always have to either mourn for the dead or a dead friendship.' her deep thoughts were arising once again, shaking her head from the thought of Dan Nevuerra whose presence wasn't around.
'But I doubt that we even formed any friendship. Hmm, I don't think so...'
Honey's thoughts continued.
"Since we're all here today, I have an announcement to make!" Yua stood in the middle of the circle, however, she was scolded by her older friends for stepping on the picnic cloth with her shoes on. "Right!" she hurriedly removed it before resuming.
Then again, she was cut off.
With the arrival of Dan Nevuerra and Miles Cha, they were officially complete.
'Well, almost complete.'
Honey looked around to see if she would be able to recognize someone she had been waiting to see again for days now, only to be met with disappointment as she failed to find the one she had been looking around for.
"Can I now say what I meant to say earlier?" the girl with the short pixie haircut and red highlights on her black hair stole everyone's attention by snapping her fingers in front of their faces. "Now, what I meant to say is..." yet again, she was cut off.
'I cannot believe this!' she closed her fists and simply took a deep breath before letting them all finish. "Our conversation isn't done yet."
Dan took hold of Honey's arm and walked a few yards away from their friends.
The two of them had a serious talk then, leaving their friends dumbfounded at the situation. "Did something happen in the last few days? I swear that I have never heard Honey use that tone like she did a few minutes ago."
Haesu alerted them all. "Whatever it is, let's stay out of it for now."
Ji Eun encouraged her best friend to keep note of it while also not getting involved.
"You're right, thank you."
The girl with the thick black hair nodded and replied with a worried smile.
Her hair possessed a brown color more than the natural black it had as the sun shone on it.
'I can't believe change was possible until now.' Ji Eun stared at Haesu in bewilderment.
"What's the problem?" the girl asked her after noticing the odd look she was given and was left unanswered with a shrug and a seemingly proud smile from the younger female.

"What is up with your attitude, woman??" Dan threw away Honey's arm, slightly shoving her. "Can you at least listen to what I've got to say to you?" he continued questioning her.
Meanwhile, Honey rolled her eyes at the sudden burst of anger that Dan was showing her.
'He's proving to me that loving him will be the last thing I would want to happen.'
"I am not going down the road where you and I end up together." she calmly replied to him.
She placed her hands on her hips since she knew clearly who had the upper hand there.
"Care to elaborate on that?" Honey thought about it for a moment, considering what would be the consequences of her actions as well as the words she said.
'I wouldn't want to be called unreasonable so I will explain my side.' Honey affirmed herself.
"You want to know what exactly is my problem right now?" he nodded like a golden retriever wanting to receive his treat, the both of them had their backs facing against the group, and Honey was able to express herself without any sugarcoating.
"Tell me every bit of what you've got to say! I have all the time now." his eyes widened in fury.
'I can tell he's mad but... I won't feel inferior anymore.' she stood her ground and started to tell him what he needed to know.
"Why don't we start with the way you talk to me?" she took a step forward.
"I get that you have a grudge that you're still holding onto because of what I did in the past, but that doesn't justify the things you've done to me now." she paused.
Honey exhaled for a second before taking in a deep breath and then, continued.
"From the way I see it, you think of me as not a person that you love but instead, you are filled with hatred toward me." was pointing fingers at him, lightly shoving him just as he did to her.
"Yes, you did love me at some point but that love turned into hate because I left you, right?" she interrogated him about the way he didn't know that his feelings changed.
"You were so stuck in the past that now, in the present time..."
"You think of how we were in the PAST, not what we are in the PRESENT." she emphasized what he was missing out on.
"Why not stop looking back and see what you're missing in front of you? Because I still love you and have let myself develop an even deeper kind of love for you." her feelings got the better of her, confessing unexpectedly.
"You're right." he agreed with her and looked down at his feet.
A grin formed on his lips, creepily letting out a scoff with a mixture of maniacal laughter.
"Let's cut ties then because I hate you just as you said." his words left Honey in despair, she felt as if her hunch was right, and that the price for what she did in the past had already been paid.
"Too predictable." was her comment as she fell on her knees.

The day ended in vain for Honey Lou when her friends saw her kneeling on the grass with her skirt exposing her red knees. "Why..?" she kept on staring at the mirror, and trying to get through with her face blindness.
"Honey Lou? Sis!! You in there?" once again, Honey Lou was under the roof of her aunt with her sister and cousin, Yeonju.
They decided to take her with them after visiting the cemetery and paying respect to their friends' deceased loved ones.
Honey tried to calm herself down before fixing her hair and wiping off the tears from her face. 'Why am I wasting my tears?' for someone like Dan, Honey knew better than anyone that he wasn't worth her time anymore.
'I'll do the same as he did.'
To turn her love into hatred would be her final resolution to the heartbreak.
"Are you done?" the door to the bathroom swung open, and Honey came out with her clothes dripping water from the tub, her hair soaked with cold water that had seemingly washed off most of its dye.
"Your hair is going back to its natural color." said her older sister who had been waiting for an hour to use the bathroom.
"Hmm..." Honey walked away before her sister could even notice her puffy red eyes.
"Oh, okay then! See you at dinner, sis!" Haesu spoke softly toward her sister and didn't mind the silent treatment. "There she goes again, treating me coldly."

I was called down to have supper with my parents as well as my older brother when I suddenly had to welcome an unexpected visitor in our house.
"Sihyeon, isn't it?" asked my mother.
"Yes, ma'am!" she replied with a hint of urgency to talk to me.
"Well, you arrived just in time for dinner. Would you like to join us?" my mother invited her before I could even say anything.
This proposition had caught me in a surprise, not knowing how to react in this scenario.
"Sure, but I hope you don't mind if I talk to your son privately." Sihyeon brushed her hair with her fingers as she used her most convincing face to persuade my mother.
"Be quick." was the woman's stern reply to my friend.
I smiled at my mother before pulling Sihyeon to a corner where no one would hear our conversation. Seeing that she came to me without notice and without anything going on lately... "This is something out of context, right?" I asked her if this had anything to do with her being a seer whose duty is to fulfill what needs to happen.
"Something is not happening according to what should be happening." was her hypothetical answer to my question.
So, what could be wrong this time? "Ji Eun is no longer the embodiment of the 13th Flare..." also known as the Dark Flare. "Which would mean that someone else has been possessed... Correct?" she immediately broke down my theory.
"Another collision is about to happen, and we must keep that from marking a point in history within this universe." I couldn't quite understand her claim, however, I knew exactly what to do regarding this crisis.
"This is important, I ask of you to prioritize this over anything and anyone else in the meantime." I nodded with a bit of doubt, I mean...
"What could be out of context from this story?" now that the end is nearing.
"Just stay alert."
I took note of what my friend had said. Given the fact that we have been granted this punishment and still living a normal life, this role of ours is quite heavier than I remember it to be.
"How many times have we been doing this..?" I curiously asked out of nowhere while following Sihyeon inside the dining room where my family was already seated.
She nudged my side without turning around, stopping me from entering the door to the dining room. "What?" I whispered, sensing that there was something or rather, someone that we had to be wary about. "Why?"
At this point, I might as well ask her the other questions...
"How? Who? Where? When??" it was one of those moments where I felt the need to overwhelm her by asking various things at once because I had very little patience.
"Will you cut it out?" she spoke furiously after a minute of silence. She ruined her hair before grasping the collar of my top, tearing it a bit as she pulled me closer, and motioned me to lean in for her to whisper something. "STOP ASKING QUESTIONS!"
