Dianne rushed into Saints Chapel, barging past the western door in the process. She knew she would find Canon Nuel inside the church.
"Canon!" she called, even though her barging in had already caught his attention.
"Dianne!"
"Reverend! i wish to speak with you"
"Go on my dear."
"After my first exorcism, the soul parasite said something strange about a certain diocesan priest."
"I'm still listening..." Canon Nuel nodded.
Dianne paused and took her time.
"Another Canon, from what the soul parasite had said, it was clear another Canon like you from another diocese has a hand in the spontaneous possession of human hosts."
"Did the demon tell you the name of the Canon and his diocese?"
"The demon didn't make the name of the Canon known to me but she clearly told me he's from the Dungeon Chapel of the 8th diocese."
"Dungeon chapel huh... it's obviously the popular and only Canon of that Diocese, Noah is his name. And since the Canon is not from this diocese..." Canon Nuel rubbed his palms with his eyes closed. "you Dianne and Grammes should head to the diocese governing over the Dungeon chapel."
"Noah... Noah Aaoki, I have heard of that name, but Reverend, with the look of things, won't it be better if I go alone? because with the arrival of an Evangelist and a Knight from another Chapel and from another diocese, won't that raise suspicions?"
"True, you have a point but anyways there will eventually be suspicious of your visit and our eventual probing of his dealings with soul parasites. But if he does acknowledge we are onto him and he tries to take drastic measures, you will have to inform us so that Grammes will therefore come after you, both as a witness and to aid the success of the probing exercise and of course aid you in case of unforseen circumstances... there might be more to all of this than we actually know."
"So to their Bishop's vicarage then?" Dianne asked.
"Sure thing Dianne," Canon Nuel sighed. "I'll write you a letter that you will hand over to the bishop of their diocese whom will have to affirm your move to the Dungeon chapel."
Canon Nuel went into a room besides the vestry and took a little while before he returned with an envelope labelled: To the Lord Bishop; Quinx Jordan
"Take this Dianne, you must deliver the letter first to their Bishop to allow you the permission to the Dungeon chapel before you can commence any probing or questioning."
Although Canon Nuel's eyes were shut, his facial expression was quite fearsome. Dianne could obviously see it, she then took the envelope with a bow and went straight for the western door.
Canon Nuel was left with bitter feelings. why would a Canon of the Anglican diocese soil his hands in such a time like this. Because they themselves the priest whom are the leaders; if they go astray, the purge and consequences and of course the reproach will be of great influence on how the white and Black orb will either balance or outweigh each other...
