Dianne had finally reached the Bishop's vicarage– a small well housing estate filled with beautiful flowers and a water fountain to compliment.
The Sexton available had ushered her into one the guest room so as to wait for Bishop Quinkx.
"Peace be unto you!" A voice sang out.
"Amen my Lord!" Dianne replied.
It was obviously the Bishop Quinkx and Dianne could see he was no more fat, he had finally slim down.
"So what brings you here? and you're the evangelist from Omi diocese right?"
"Yes I am." Dianne replied.
His sleeved shirt and trousers were casual but he still had his dog's collar on and ofcourse his ring was still on his finger.
"Your name please?"
Didn't the Sexton tell him about me? Dianne wondered or was he just trying to reafim?
"My Lord, Dianne is my name; Dianne Robes. and I have come here in respect of a letter which was given to me to be handed over to you."
Dianne brought out the envelope and handed it over to the Bishop.
"Oh I see!" he smiled.
He took for himself a seat, before opening the envelope and began reading. It didn't come as a shocker to Dianne on how all priests were able to read, walk and even talk with their eyes closed if not all the time. Well it has been like that with them even before she became an evangelist. Their spiritual Aura also known as Radiance was way different from most other individuals.
The Bishop stood up and went into another room where he took some time before returning with a smile on his face.
"Here!!" he smiled as he handed Dianne another envelope. "In this envelope contains the permission you need inorder to carry out any probing exercise on the Dungeon Chapel."
"I appreciate your kindness and co operation my Lord."
"Well the Canon you're about to meet at the Dungeon Chapel is the only canon in this diocese and his name is Noah Aaoki." He said still smiling. "well, he has a different vibe to the feel and I am sure he's quite popular owing to the fact that he has been so long a Canon and ofcourse the only Canon."
Bishop Quinkx brought out a clergy calendar and pointed out the supposed Canon to evangelist Dianne who from her looks seemed to recognize the figure who's eyes were shut.
"Hmm...," Dianne nodded. "he's quite the Canon too, ofcourse he's well known around all the dioceses for his method of mass toturing of soul parasites."
"Of course he's famous, isn't it?" he smiled again. "Yet I'm still left bewildered by what was written by your chapel's Canon to me but oh well, let's see how the probing will pan out."
"That's a very wise choice my Lord." Dianne nodded in agreement. "And if his lordship would excuse me, I'll humbly take my leave immediately. Please pray for my success."
With that she stood up and bowed and walked towards the door she had came through.
"My evangelist," Bishop Quinkx called, prompting dianne to a halt. "you're free to deal with him if things don't go too well; he's becoming a burden."
"What is he trying to say?" a surprised Dianne asked herself. "Does it mean the Bishop of this diocese also suspect his activities? or is there some hidden matter between the Cannon and the Bishop? hmm..."
Well Dianne would have to put in a lot of effort if she wanted to find answers. And hopefully it might be in the best interest of Dianne and the whole of Omi diocese that Dianne doesn't take the probing too far.
