A while earlier, right when Sin disappeared from Angel Beach.
Robin frowned as she looked at the trail of lightning that her brother left behind, and then she glanced at Bonney, Yamato, Augur, and Kuina.
"How are we going to get there?" The swordsgirl curiosity asked.
"Robin." Bonney looked at the younger Black, who nodded to her before walking towards the Cloud Sea.
Kuina's eyes widened in surprise when she saw her Vice Captain sit and place her hand into the water, and her mind went blank as she watched her create an Icy Road, heading in the direction where Sin had gone.
"Go."
She heard the command, and those around her, sped down the road before she could even respond.
"Take care." Robin smiled at her, and she nodded her head before running down to the road.
"You really can't freeze everything, can't you?" Kuina smiled in her heart as she said those words, and then her eyes grew fiercer when she heard the sudden rumbling of clouds.
However, even if she wished, she could not run faster than she already was on ice. And those that had run ahead of her were much faster than her.
On the other side, Yamato, Augur, and Bonney were speeding towards the Upper Yard as fast as they could.
It took them a few minutes to reach their destination, and their hearts tensed when they heard the explosions in the sky as their Captain engaged with Enel.
Now that they were there, they could sense that Enel was incredibly strong, and Bonney clenched her fists tightly when she saw Sin dropping from the sky.
He managed to stop himself mid-air before she rushed up again, but it was clear that things were not easy on his end.
"There are two in the East, one in the West, and the last Priest is up in the North," Augur said, and Yamato nodded her head, having sensed the strongest signatures.
"I will take the two in the East." The Oni-Girl confidently said, and then rushed straight towards the opponents that they had chosen.
"I will deal with the one who's in the West." The Marksman said, and then rushed straight towards his enemy.
Bonney stayed in her place as she stared at the sky, worriedly watching the Lightning clash with Lightning.
"Bonney!" She heard Kuina's voice from behind her when the Swordsgirl finally arrived.
"Let's go." She said, not giving the girl the time to catch her breath. But Kuina never complained and just she silently followed her.
They kept running deeper and deeper into the Upper Yard, with Bonney leading the way toward the signature that she had picked along the way.
"Get ready." The pinkhead said, right before they arrived inside a clearing, where a dark-skinned bald man, who was wearing sunglasses, was waiting for them.
He was sitting, resting his back against a giant dog that was comfortably sleeping, and as soon as they stopped, he raised his head to look at them.
"Just as our God had shown me, two girls have come to challenge me." The man smiled and then stood up.
Kuina drew Wado Ichimongi out of its scabbard when she saw the man draw his own sword out of its scabbard.
However, what happened next stunned them.
"My name is Ohm, and I am the Servant of my God." The man said, and then swung his sword sideways, which mysteriously caused the blade to stretch, taking the form of a ridiculously long whip.
Bonney and Kuina watched in alarm as Ohm swung his whip at a blinding speed, subtly hitting the ground in hundreds of different spots, along the perimeter of the clearing, and then they watched mysterious barbed wires sprout from the spots that were touched by the whip, and soon the place was into a giant cage.
"Welcome to the Iron Trial. By God's will, I shall help you pass over to the afterlife." He grinned.
"Devil Fruit?" The Shimotsuki ignored his words and frowned as she looked at the barbed cage.
"No." Surprisingly, the man answered her. "These are wires made from Iron Clouds, which had been stored inside Eject Dials, and when I activated them, the Dials broke, ejecting what they stored. Eject Dials are known for storing things, but they can only be used one time. Also, if you are curious, I have an Eisen Dial in the handle of my weapon..."
Both of them dumbly stared at the man who explained things to them in great detail, and they frowned when he suddenly raised his hand and wiped off the tears that had dripped out of his eyes.
"It's a shame that humans spend their lives fighting each other, wasting their time on meaningless things, but never pursuing knowledge. They are not just weak, but pathetically ignorant as well..."
"Does he have some screws loose?" Kuina frowned, and Bonney nodded her head.
"He has."
"How insolent of you to insult the Priest who serves the God with his life. But I understand that you are ignorant, and I shall free you of this ignorance." He nodded to himself. "You will die today."
"Heh... I would like to see you try, Dumb Priest." Bonney mocked him, rubbing her fist in the palm of her other hand, coating her body in her Armament Haki.
"Ren." Ohm smiled. "Perhaps, you are not going to be a disappointment. But how good is your Mantra?"
Bonney ignored his words as she rushed right at him, but out of nowhere, the Iron Cloud Whip rushed at her from the side, and she was forced to defend herself.
"Not bad." Ohm was truly impressed that Bonney saw his attack coming, and he turned to look at his sleeping dog. "Holy. Food has arrived. Wake up."
Hearing his call, the Giant dog abruptly stood up and then looked at both Bonney and Kuina.
"The blue-haired one."
"Awo!" It happily yelped before rushing at Kuina, and Bonney allowed it to pass by her side and rushed at Ohm.
"I don't have time to waste on you, some two more of your friends are rushing here." The man said as he charged forward, returning the whip to its Sword form, and then coating with it his Armament Haki.
Bonney blocked the oncoming blade with her fist, and then skillfully maneuvered herself in the air before throwing an axe kick at her enemy.
The Priest blocked her attack but frowned at the pain that made his arm go numb, however, he soon used his IronCloud Sword, which turned into a whip, and reached forward to bind the enemy.
The girl against jumped up and manoeuvred herself in the air. She failed to dodge the whip which captured her left leg, but her right foot smacked straight into the head of her tall dark man, who was sent flying away just as she was flung away by the whip.
They both crashed onto the ground, but Bonney managed to stand up quickly, and immediately stomped on the whip, breaking it.
She then sat down and quickly ripped off the piece that was binding her legs, and glanced at how Kuina was doing.
"Dodge!" She yelled, just when a device that the dog was wearing above its paws caught her attention.
However, she was a little late as Kuina blocked the dog's fist with her sword and was sent flying and crashing into the barbed wires when the stored force inside the hidden dial was released.
"That dog has Impact Dials hiding in its fur, right above its paws!" She told the Swordsgirl, who was feeling fine and had managed to save her vitals with her Haki as soon as she had heard Bonney's call.
"Thanks." Kuina took a few heavy breaths and nodded to Bonney before several looking at the Dog. "I cut you in pieces."
The dog whimpered a little, intimidated by her conviction, but then it heard the cracks of a whip and managed to compose itself.
"Holy. You better kill that girl before I finish off my prey."
"Awo." The dog promised his Master that he would get the job done, and rushed at Kuina, who had, for some reason, withdrawn her sword back in its scabbard, and patiently waited for the dog to get close.
However, everything came to a halt when they felt the winds start blowing crazily, and then they looked up, all their hearts sank when they saw a few terrifying tornadoes descending on the Island, and one was falling right on them.
Even Ohm was dismayed at what was happening, but before the tornadoes could come close enough, they were intercepted by Pillars of Lightning and were utterly destroyed in the air.
"Sin..." Bonney clenched her fists hard when she saw her Captain shooting down from the sky like a star, and she heard the crash happen a few hundred metres away from them.
She heard the cry of the majestic bird in the sky, and her eyes narrowed when she finally laid eyes on Enel, who was not in his beast form.
"Thunderbird..."
"Your God made a mistake by challenging God Enel. No one can defeat him." Ohm laughed.
"He's not my God!" It ticked her off that these guys were all extremely delusional, and she was afraid that they would truly fuel Sin's God Complex if they kept speaking all this nonsense. "And that pathetic bird has no chance of defeating my Captain." She confidently said, and then stopped quibbling and rushed straight at the man to just finish the job.
An anguished cry of the dog came from behind her, and she smirked as she threw her fist at Ohm, whose face was a little cloudy now.
