Near the shores of the far-right region of the Star Island, close to the beach of the City of Altaria, but away from the port, a massive ship, which happened to be one of the most famous ships in the world, was anchored.
It was Moby Dick, the Flagship of Whitebeard Pirates, and the ship that Whitebeard himself sailed upon.
Sin curiously looked at the main crew from the sky, watching them moving the supplies to the ship from Altaria, and lounging on the beach, under the shade of tall trees.
He smiled at how carefree they all were.
And why wouldn't they be? They had, after all, the World's Strongest Man as their Captain, and under his shadow, who could dare to stand up against them?
His smile brightened when the Man himself looked up in the sky, right at him, narrowing his eyes.
"How long do you plan on snooping on us, Lightning-Brat?"
His question confused those who were around him, all except for a certain blonde-haired man, the First-Divison Commander, Marco The Phoenix, who followed his Captain's eyes and looked into the sky, right where Sin was hiding in the clouds.
"Impressive." He grinned, truly impressed by the blonde-haired man, who had immediately spotted him after getting the cue. "You are strong." He said, right before he landed on the beach in a bolt of lightning.
His sudden arrival made some fearfully look at him, and almost everyone in the crew was apprehensive of him as they quickly gathered their weapons and prepared themselves for a fight.
Whitebeard, however, narrowed his eyes at one of the two swords he was wearing on his hip, and it was not long before some others recognised it as well.
"Pardon my intrusion, but I was curious to meet the fabled World's Strongest Man." He grinned.
"Are you here to fight our Old Man, Kid?" A reckless man from the crew mockingly said after getting a grip on his nerves, and when Sin turned to look at him and their eyes met, darkness lulled him to sleep.
One by one, bodies fell on the ground, losing their consciousness, and soon only more than a dozen remained.
"You are not worthy of questioning me." He grinned as he scanned the members of the crew who were still standing on their feet, now glaring at him.
"Conqueror's Haki..." The man, whom Sin recognised as Diamond Jozu, grimly said, and his hands were now coated in the power of his Devil Fruit.
However, he was simply ignored as something else caught the attention of the older Black.
Sin curiously looked at a certain dark-skinned man, who was tall and had quite a massive build compared to his thin limbs, wearing a white shirt and green trousers. And he frowned in his heart at the man's oddity, whose true emotions of excitement, defied the fear that he was expressing on his face.
"Interesting..." He narrowed his eyes, and the dark-skinned man suddenly became apprehensive of him.
"That sword on your waist, where did you get it from?" The blonde-haired man, who did not seem bothered at all by what he had just done to their people, knowing well that they were only asleep, questioned him.
"Which one?" He smiled and then looked at the one Marco pointed at. "Oh, this?" He pulled the sword out of its scabbard and smiled in his heart when he sensed it trying to absorb his Armament Haki, coating itself in it.
It was a sword that could only be tamed by a Swordsman like him, who possessed immense Willpower, and it constantly raged to be swung and cut something, not unlike the Kitetsu that he had on him as well.
"This is Emna, the greatest Masterpiece of the legendary Swordsmith, Shimotsuki Kozaburo. One of the 21 Great Grade Swords. It was last wielded by a Samurai named Kozuki Oden." He grinned at the frowns that appeared on their faces as he took Oden's name.
"Where did you find it, Brat?" It was Whitebeard who asked the question this time, and his voice held grave seriousness in it.
Had it been anyone else, they might have been wiser to just answer him, but Sin was always a little reckless.
"I will tell you where I got it from if the famous Flower Sword Vista manages to defeat me in a sword fight." He turned to look at the Swordsman, who was considered one of the best in the world, and his challenge was readily accepted by the man who confidently grinned at him.
"I heard you locked swords with Mihawk after the Warlord Summit," Vista said as he pulled out his two Sabres. "You must be good."
As soon as he finished his words, he rushed at Sin, and the Captain of the Blackstar Crew just smiled at him before expertly blocking the two Sabres with his Katana.
"Not bad." Vista excitedly said and attacked him again, this time, with even more fervour, and Sin gladly welcomed him.
It had been a while, and he had not gotten a chance to lock swords with a good Swordsman since he last fought Mihawk at Sabaody. Needless to say, he was very excited to see that Vista had some real Sword Skills.
Marco and Jozu turned to look at their Old Man, who was grinning as he watched the two Swordmen fighting against each other, and sensing that he was fine with letting Sin be wilful, they decided to not interfere and sat back on the ground.
"You are good!" Sin happily told the Flower Swordsman, whose smile was just as bright as his, and then they just lost themselves in their duel, paying no heed to the passage of time.
Those who had been rendered unconscious by Sin eventually started waking up, and then they fearfully watched as their Fifth-Divison Commander failed to get the upper hand in the fight.
Hours passed, and when cuts started landing on Vista's body, everyone kept glancing at their Old Man to see his reaction, but they found him very calm about what was happening.
"Someone's coming." Marco suddenly said, and the Lower-Ranked members of the crew immediately tensed up.
And what happened next left everyone in disbelief.
"Whitebeard! I am Kozuki Oden, and I shall fight you!"
The pirates gaped as they watched a tall girl with horns on her head suddenly emerge out of the woods, and she rushed straight at the World's Strongest Man, wielding her club and wearing an excited grin on her face.
"Let her." Jozu was about to step in when he heard his Old Man say, and he respectfully stayed in his place.
The moment Yamato reached Whitebeard, she brought down her club hard, and the Old Man just grinned as he raised his right hand and used his forefinger to block the weapon.
"What?!" Someone cried out in shock as they watched the dark streaks of lightning start crackling as soon as the two clashed, but then they saw and heard Spacial Cracks appear around Whitebeard's finger, and the next instant, the girl was sent flying towards the sea at a breakneck speed.
Sin sighed in his heart as he sensed that Yamato was about to fall into the water, and he immediately disengaged from his battle and caught her in midair.
"Seriously?" He looked at her, and only received her adorable grin in response.
"He's strong!"
"Of course, he is, you dumbass!" He scolded her, and she just laughed at his words.
"Oi, Lightning-Brat, you pulled back from the sword fight. You lose." Marco was quick to shout their way, and when Sin sighed, Yamato felt a little bad in her heart, realising that she had disturbed him.
"Sorry."
"I will punish you later." He promised her with a gentle smile, and seeing that he was not upset, she grinned again.
"Let's fight Whitebeard!"
"Shut up." He immediately shot down her proposal.
"It's been a while since I have been at a disadvantage in a sword fight." Vista generously praised him and put his Sabres back on his waist. "Now, let's talk." He seriously said, folding his arms on his chest. "Why do you have Enma with you?"
"I borrowed it from someone." He grinned, and his answer made Vista and Marco raise their brows at him.
"Who?" The blonde-haired man asked.
"My wife." He chuckled at their reaction and then unceremoniously walked towards the crates that were placed under a tree, and then picked up a bottle of rum before sitting cross-legged on the sand.
Yamato too followed his lead, but unlike him, she picked up the whole crate and brought it with her as she sat down by his side.
"You are quite insolent, Lightning-Brat." Whitebeard heavily said, and Sin smiled at him.
"I will pay for the booze if you are so stingy about it." He opened the bottle and gulped down a few mouthfuls. "Not bad."
"Oi..." Marco angrily walked over to him, but when Sin raised his head and smiled at him, he stopped. "Speak." He asked, and his voice was extremely serious.
"I just told you it belongs to my wife and I borrowed it from her." Sin teased him, and just when Marco was about to lash out at him, he continued. "If you are still curious, my wife's name is Kozuki Hiyori. Is that enough?"
The moment they heard the name, those who were familiar with it froze, and Sin allowed them the time to compose themselves as he helped himself to more rum.
