Sin smiled when he arrived at the rooftop and found Vivi, Nami, and Nojiko dancing in the rain with his little sister.
The four girls immediately dragged him with them, pulling him into their silly games, and he happily obliged, letting them have all the fun.
It was rare to see Robin act like a child, but it was truly a heartwarming sight for him.
Their childhood was not something he would wish upon anyone else, and he was just happy to see her enjoying herself with the three of them at the moment.
"Can you make it thunder again?" Vivi expectantly asked, and Sin grinned at her before he created some thunderclaps that travelled far into Sandy Island.
And as soon as they subsided, her giddy laughter greeted his ears.
The Princess was utterly in love with his Lightning Powers, and when Nami asked her whose Powers she liked more, Robin's or his, she did not hesitate in saying that she loved his powers more.
However, it was funny how she tried to explain herself to Robin afterwards, telling her how much she loved her powers too. And his little sister mischievously made her feel a little guilty before eventually telling her that she was just messing with her.
Crocodile stayed in the building for a good hour before he got up and took his leave, and Sin smiled when he sensed the man walk out in the rain, not minding it. And the Warlord seemed to have decided to head to the Rainbase on foot, probably to give himself the time to think.
Sin was sure that his words had made the man reflect on his life, and even if the Desert King was prideful, his offer was just too lucrative for him to ignore.
Most importantly, after realising the gap between them, and sensing that Sin did not really hold any ill-will towards him, the Desert King would remain mindful of his actions in the future, at least, when it concerned the Blackstar Crew and the Kingdom of Arabasta.
And since his plans were ruined now, he would have to decide what he wanted to do next.
It was going to take a while, a long while for Crocodile to reach a decision and gather up his Will again, but Sin was in no rush.
They had time now, and he had a lot of things on his hands to focus on.
"I am going to head to Alubarna. Do you guys want to come?"
"No, we are staying with Robin. Look! Bepo, Augur, and Bart are here too!" Nami shook her head and pointed at the port, where the Blackpearl was now being anchored.
"Nami promised me a ship tour." Vivi lightly smiled at him, and he nodded to her.
Since there was going to be heavy rainfall for the coming few days, the Ships on the Eastern and Western Ports of Sandora River were moving out to the sea and anchoring at Nanohana or Erumalu. They were doing it as a precaution against the flooding of the Sandora River.
"Alright, then. I will see you tomorrow." He said and then leaned in to plant a kiss on his sister's forehead, making her smile.
"Where's mine?" Nami mischievously asked, making him and Robin laughed at her words, and then Sin proceeded to kiss the three young girls on their foreheads too before he disappeared in a flash of lightning.
He first arrived at Nanohana, assessing the situation there, and stayed in the sky, listening to the joyous voices of the people and their conversations.
His next destinations were Katorea, Tamarisk, Surrey, and Ido, and then he arrived outside of Alubarna, inside the Tombs. However, he was not there to pay respects to the dead, but to search for the entrance that Cobra had told him about.
Under the Tombs was a Chamber, The Tomb of the Kings, where the past Kings and Queens of Arabasta were buried.
Sin took his time as he checked one Tomb after another, reading the tombstones, and then headed towards the place where another secret staircase was hidden.
The chamber he arrived in was much smaller than the one above it, and in its centre was a large steele, made out of some dark-blue coloured mysterious stone, with a message on it, written in the Ancient Script of the Great Kingdom.
This was the second Poneglyph he had come across in his life.
His eyes narrowed as he read what was written on it, and on it was the name of an extremely powerful Ancient Weapon called Pluton.
Pluton was one of the Three Ancient Weapons named after the Divine Deities, created by the Great Kingdom during the Void Century, and on this Polygnyph it was mentioned that it was a Ship, capable of destroying entire Islands. And what made his heart skip was beat was that its location, where it was hidden, was also mentioned on it.
"Wano..." He murmured the name of the Kingdom he would have to make plans for, and then immediately approached the Steele and traced the letters with his fingers.
This was one of the Polygnyph that had to be kept hidden at all costs, and Sin tried experimenting with it, seeing if he could find a way to alter the writings and change the message on it so that no one else would learn about Pluton and its location. However, it was a serious headache.
The Steele was pretty much indestructible. And he had already experimented with the one that was hidden under the Tree of Knowledge in Ohara. There was really no way that he could alter these writings. And it got him seriously wondering how they ever managed to write on this Stone and get it in his shape.
He was lost in his thoughts when he started tracing the letters and symbols again, and his eyes suddenly widened when he heard a voice in his head that he did not recognise.
"You have a consciousness." He narrowed his eyes at the Polygnyph, listening to it say the same words that were written on it, over and over again. "But a limited one."
Eventually, he just sighed and stepped back. And his focus returned to the issue at hand.
Moving the Steele to a safer place was not possible right now. And he could not just take away something that was entrusted to the Nefertari Family centuries, at least, not without informing the King and raising serious questions in his mind. Questions that he could not answer as they would put the Kingdom of Arabasta into jeopardy.
Sin kept thinking hard, but then took a deep breath and calmed himself down.
This place was fairly safe too. After all, the Poneglyph had safely been hidden here for 800 years now. And at least, he could get someone to hide it better here.
Making up his mind, Sin made the could in the sky thunder again, created some lightning, and then he disappeared into the sky, returning to Erumalu.
"Hey, girls. Can I borrow sister away for some time?"
The younger girls were alarmed when he suddenly appeared on the deck of Black Pearl, and before they could respond, Sin was already gone with Robin.
"Everything okay?" His sister curiously asked, but seconds later, when he brought her into the chamber where the Poneglyph was kept, her eyes widened in shock.
"I want you to cover it in layers of Ice."
Robin understood his intentions and got straight to work, pressing her Frostflame-clad hands on the Poneglyph, and then freezing it up, creating layer after layer of ice on it.
Several minutes later, they were looking at a much bigger block, and it was now a block of ice that exuded a bone-chilling coldness, which no normal person would be able to bear after entering the room.
Slowly, the room started freezing up as well, but thankfully, when they returned to the Tomb of the Kings and closed the secret passage, the cold was locked too.
To not take any more risks, and to prevent someone from sensing the drop in temperature on this section of the floor, Robin proceeded to cover the entire floor in a thick and rough Icy layer, which one could stand upon without losing the grip.
She also proceeded to coat the tombstones in glass-like ice, presenting them, and her actions drastically dropped the temperature of the room, where the cold from the secret passage no longer had any chance of being discovered.
"Thanks!" He smiled and stole a kiss from her lips, making her grab him by his collar and initiate a proper lip-lock.
Minutes later, after dropping Robin back on the Black Pearl, he arrived at the Royal Palace.
Cobra was out on the main balcony, enjoying the sight of the dark sky which looked terrifying, just as much as it looked beautiful, and the constant lightning and thunder was truly a sight to behold and experience.
"Thank you, Sin." Cobra gratefully said, and he smiled at the King of Arabasta.
"We need to talk."
Cobra immediately signalled for the guards to leave them alone on the balcony, and they obeyed his command.
"I took the liberty to freeze the chamber and hide it better. Unfortunately, you won't very able to access it anymore. The thing you have been entrusted to protect is much safer now."
"Your father never told me what was written on it." Cobra immediately understood that it had something to do with the text on that block of Stone, which Orion had called a Poneglyph.
"It involves things that would put Arabasta in danger." He lightly whispered. "This why that Poneglyph needs to be kept hidden from the world."
His words made the King tense up, and a deep frown marred his face. He sensed that Sin would not go into details, and decided to trust in his judgement.
"You will head to the Drum Kingdom tomorrow, right?"
"Yes." He nodded.
"The team of engineers from Karakuri Island will arrive there tomorrow."
"Take Vivi with you." Cobra smiled. "She has always wanted to visit a Winter Island."
"Alright." He smiled and nodded before excusing himself and walking inside the Palace to check on Kuina and Paschia.
