Somewhere in the Evil Sea, a gigantic round ship with a figurehead of a White Walkie, swayed under the ministrations of the thunderstorm. There were hundreds of guards onboard, working under the command of a tall man in a Jester costume, wearing a Bow and a Quiver on his back.
Sin watched the ship from the clouds with half of his body dematerialised into the lightning. He had been following the ship for a while, and he was quite curious about it as he had found the strange ship capable of submerging in the water. And just as he was thinking about how to bring it out of the waters, the Evil Sea played its tricks and a storm arrived at his aid.
"Chess!" A loud angry voice resounded on the ship. "Why did you disturb my sleep?!"
"Forgive me, King Wapol. The storm arrived and the Bliking could not stay submerged. I commanded the crew to ascend to the surface, and everything is now under control. The ship is safe and we will soon sail out of the storm." The man in the Jester costume answered.
Wapol did not seem pleased at his words, but he nodded his head nonetheless.
"Order the chef to make me something to eat." He said and started walking back inside the ship, however, he came to an abrupt stop when a series of heart-stirring thunderclaps resounded in the sky, and just when the chills up his spine subsided, a lightning bolt landed right in front of him, with a tall and handsome young man materialising out of it.
Wapol fearfully looked at the man and his body started shaking in fear.
"How are you here..."
He recognised the man as he had seen his wanted poster. It was none other than the infamous Black D. Sin, Captain of the Blackstar Pirates, a man with a bounty of 80 Million Berries on his head.
A few days ago, the Marine Headquarters had contacted all the Kingdoms in Paradise and informed them of this dangerous man treading these waters of the Evil Sea. Wapol at first had not paid attention to the warnings, but today, when the Palace authorities informed him about Blackstar Crew's presence in his Kingdom, he had immediately informed the Marines and begged them for their support.
Unfortunately, the Marines were going to take several hours to arrive on the Island, and before he could wait for them, he received Sin's message to listen to his call.
After some investigation, he found out that it concerned the Medical Associations that he had destroyed.
Now, Wapol knew that he was not a bright fellow, but he believed that he was not stupid either. He could feel that Sin was going to do something horrible to him, so he quickly came up with an ingenious plan to leave on a vacation. Who cares about what happens to the Kingdom? He could always return after the Pirates leave the place.
His trusted subordinates, Chess and Kuromarimo, arranged everything in time, and he truly believed that he had survived the catastrophe, but who knew that this Devil would chase him into the Evil Sea?
"Of course, I came for you, Wapol." Sin devilishly smiled at the man before him. "You see, I was very upset that my warning was ignored and you chose to flee instead of coming to see me. Now, I have come here to teach you what happens when you ignore my words."
"W-what..." Wapol gulped some dry air and stepped backwards. "What you do want to do?" He fearfully asked. "You can not harm me, I am a King! World Government won't let you go if you harm me."
"Trust me, they won't even miss you." Sin chuckled at his words, and shook his head in disappointment.
Drum Island was a small Kingdom, and its importance to the world government was nothing more than a supplier of precious ores and the presence of the Doctor's Association, which Wapol himself had destroyed.
Wapol too knew that the World Government did not really care about him. It did not matter to them who ruled the Drum Kingdom, and if he was gone, someone else would take his place and everything would return to normal.
"Killing a King is still the most heinous crime. You will bring the wrath of the Marines upon you..." Wapol conjured up some courage and spoke the words. However, the fear was still evident in his voice.
Before Sin could say anything, the guards on board, who had recovered from their shock, surrounded him from all sides with their weapons drawn at him.
"Good Job, Chess!" Wapol felt a little at ease when he saw his trusted subordinate standing right behind him. The presence of dozens of guards managed to calm down his heart, and he threateningly looked at Sin. "I am a King, Pirate! I am not obliged to listen to anyone's call!"
Sin raised his brow at the sudden shift in Wapol's demeanour.
"Kneel..." He lightly said, but his command thundered in Wapol's ears.
Wapol felt a terrifying Aura burst out of Sin and weigh down on him, and he plopped on his knees subconsciously, nearly emptying his bladder right then and there. But before he could take a sigh of relief, he glanced around him and found that everyone else was laying on the ground, unconscious, and he could no longer control the water that broke out of his body.
"I am sorry!" Wapol instinctively yelled out with tears streaming out of his eyes, and his empty stomach grumbled loudly as fear heightened his hunger.
"Oh... What are you apologising for, King?" Sin teasingly smiled at him. "And my, my, what's this stench? You have not peed your pants, have you?" He frowned and asked. "I find it very disrespectful to me that you have helped yourself to a piss in my presence."
Wapol tried to crawl away, but the coldness in Sin's eyes kept him rooted in his place.
"I did not mean to do it..." He cried. "I am sorry!"
The commotion on board had already attracted the attention of the people inside the ship, and soon more guards and a team of 20 Doctors, wearing pink scrubs, arrived on the deck.
"My King!" A man with a black afro yelled but soon stood frozen in his place when he found Sin coldly glancing at him.
"Stay silent, or I will kill you." He warned everyone and turned to look back at Wapol. "You are yet to answer my question, King. What are you apologising for?"
"Forgive me for not listening to your call!"
"Oh..." Sin pretended to contemplate his words. "I could forgive you, but I have a reputation to maintain, unlike you." He shook his head. "How about I give you a task, and if you accomplish it, I will forgive you?"
"Please, tell me..." Wapol quickly nodded his head.
"Who are your most trusted subordinates?" Sin asked him.
"Chess and Kuromarimo!" He answered unhesitatingly.
"This guy?" Sin pointed at the unconscious man in a Jester Costume, who was also the Defense Minister of the Drum Kingdom.
"Yes!" Wapol nodded his head and then pointed at the black-haired afro guy. "And that's Kuromarimo."
"Nice..." He evilly smiled, and everyone felt chills run up their spines. "I will forgive you for not listening to my warning if you pick up Chess and throw him off the ship. You have a minute to accomplish the task."
Wapol seemed taken aback at his words, and even the people who were watching looked amazed at the task Sin wanted their King to accomplish. But that shock was nothing compared to what they witnessed next.
Wapol did not even show any hesitation and quickly picked up Chess before walking to the railing and throwing the unconscious man off the ship.
Jerked back to conciseness, the falling Chess screamed out in fright before he dropped into the sea, and no matter how hard he tried, he failed to keep afloat in his thick clothing, and soon the raging sea pulled him to its depths.
"Neat." Sin chuckled when he saw Wapol expectantly look at him. "You are a decisive man, King."
Wapol took his words as a compliment and grinned, showing no remorse for what he had done just now.
"Now then, as I said, I forgive you for ignoring my warning..." He said and Wapol happily smiled, however, his next words poured cold water over his joy. "However, you were rude enough to piss in my presence. What shall we do about it?"
Rage whispered in Wapol's heart, but it dwarfed in front of his fear, and he apprehensively looked at Sin, waiting for his next words.
"I am a generous man, King. I will forgive you for that too if you manage to kill Kuromarimo."
"Y-you..." Kuromarimo looked at Sin as if he was an incarnation of the Devil himself, and then turned to fearfully look at his King, who was already approaching him with cold eyes. "My King..."
Kuromarimo knew that Wapol was heartless and cared for nothing but himself, but he was not just going to let the man kill him.
"You dare to rebel!" Wapol shouted furiously when he saw Kuromarimo rush at him, and then, much to the horror of everyone, they saw Wapol's mouth open like a cave and devour the man with the afro as if he was a snack.
Some guards could not help it and threw up as they heard Wapol munch on the flesh and bones of Kuromarimo, and the rest soon turned their eyes away from the scene, shaking uncontrollably in fear and disgust.
"A Devil Fruit..." Sin curiously watched the scene and smiled when Wapol was done eating his meal. He chuckled a little when the King of Drum Island burped loudly.
"I have done what you asked..."
"Oh yes, you did." Sin nodded his head. "But you know... I find the act of burping so loudly very rude..."
As soon as he spoke those words, everyone onboard tensed up. Their minds yelled at them to escape, but their fear kept them rooted in the place.
"Who do you want me to..."
"I am tired of this game." Sin cut Wapol off and disappeared from his place, arriving right in front of the disgraced King and smacking his face hard with a crisp slap, sending him off flying in the air. "So, you can kill yourself."
The King of Drum Island yelled in pain, and when he regained some of his bearings, he found himself falling into the sea.
"Help!!!" He loudly screamed right before he fell into the water, sinking away.
"You can jump into the sea and save him if you want." Sin smiled at the audience as he played with Wapol's Crown in his hand.
Even if he gave his permission, no one jumped into the sea to save Wapol, who was sinking like stone into the water, never to take a breath again.
"How sad... The King of Drum Island lost his life to a storm in the sea. I wish I had met him." Sin spoke to himself, but everyone onboard heard his words and understood them. "I will be waiting for you in Gyasta City." He looked at the Isshi-20 before disappearing with a bolt of lightning.
