Chapter 5 - Chapter 4

The painful cries of the girl reverberated on the deck, but no one paid attention to her or came to her rescue.

Hancock was sadistic when it came to training, and Sin was cruel enough to leave the newest member of their crew in her care.

Law and Bepo still felt cold shivers up their spine every time they recalled the beatings they had received at her hands. And somewhere deep in their hearts, they were happy to see someone suffer at her hands as they had suffered, but they felt bad for the poor girl too.

Kuina was forbidden from using her Sword for a month, as Hancock was trying to teach her basic hand-to-hand combat to help raise her physical strength. She needed to reach an optimum level of physical strength to start her Haki Training, and it was the necessary pain that she had to go through.

Even after three weeks of torture, Kuina did not complain even once. She did doubt what she had gotten herself into, but within a couple of days, she felt herself getting better. Her reaction time was drastically improving, and her pain tolerance was rising as well. But that did not mean that she got used to taking Hancock's beatings.

The Amazonian Princess made sure that she felt the pain, and over the days, the intensity of her training had risen by several folds.

"Captain!" Suddenly the voice of Augur resounded on the deck. "There's a fleet of a couple of hundred Pirates in our way. We are five minutes away from them."

"Do you recognize the Jolly Roger?" Sin asked.

"They are Kreig Pirates of East Blue," Augur informed him.

"The Don of the East Blue, heh..." Sin sinisterly smiled. "Hey, who wants to steal some treasure?!" He called out, and all the members of the crew, except for Kuina, loudly cheered.

"Take a break," Hancock said to her and walked inside the ship where the girls had their rooms.

The young girl was nervous when she saw the fleet of over thirty ships on their way. The Pirates on those ships were loudly chanting the battle cries, and it added to her nervousness.

Sin anchored the ship a safe distance away from the awaiting fleet. He did not want to bring the fight onto their deck as it could harm their ship.

He took off his coat and hung it on the helm of the ship along with his Odachi.

"Ready?"

"Aye!" The crew answered and Sin signalled them to start.

A loud sound of a gunshot was heard from their Crow's Nest, and the Jolly Roger of Kreig Pirates on their main Warship fell, angering the pirates.

Sin walked over and wrapped his arms around the waists of Hancock and Robin, disappearing with them in a bolt of lightning, and boarding the main Warship of Kreig Pirates.

The rest of the Blackstar Crew were going to deal with the Kreig Fleet that was soon going to surround their ship, and the three of them were going to deal with Krieg's main Crew.

"Good Afternoon!" Sin politely bowed to the shocked crowd, who were looking at him as if he were a monster. "The Blackstar Pirates are here for your treasure, please show us where you are keeping it." His lower body was still dematerialised into lightning, and the constant crackling of electricity in the air added to their fright.

"Monster!" Someone yelled and people stumbled away from the three of them.

"Now that is rude." Hancock did not like that Sin was called a 'Monster' and her eyes burned in sinister purple flames and soon her body started to dematerialise as well in a fire element.

"Calm down. We don't want to burn the treasure." Sin chuckled and looked Kreig in the eyes.

"You ate Devil Fruits!" He exclaimed.

And the three of them looked at him as if he was a fool for realising it so late.

"Let's end it fast. I still have a few pages left in the book I was reading." Robin boredly said and rushed at the enemies, engaging them in combat.

Kreig watched in horror as the three of them dismantled his crew without even using their Devil Fruit Powers.

"You pathetic bunch of weaklings. Use the MH5!" Kreig called out, and the Pirates started wearing the masks they had around their necks before throwing smoke grenades everywhere on the deck.

Sin, Hancock, and Robin immediately moved away and tensed a little looking at the cloud of poisonous gas that surrounded the deck. Those Pirates who were unconscious had not worn masks to protect themselves, and all of them got poisoned, with some coughing blood and waking up, and the rest silently drifted to their deaths.

"They have no care for their crew." Robin sighed.

"Fire Pearl!" A voice called out, and soon dozens of Fire Balls were shot their way.

Hancock felt like it was a challenge to her, and she dematerialised herself into purple flames, taking the form of a Fire Spirit before she darted in the direction where the attack had come from.

The man named Pearl was shocked to see a maiden of Fire appear in front of him. That haunting purple flame instilled a grave fear in his heart, and when the Fire Spirit smiled at him, he knew it was his death smiling at him.

"You love playing with Fire, right? Let me bathe you in my Hellfire." Hancock haughtily said and a pillar of purple Hellfire erupted from under Pearl's feet, melting him along with his Armour, erasing him out of existence.

The powerful flames of Hellfire burned the poison in the air surrounding her, but they also set the deck on fire, and everyone started running to save their lives.

Most of the Pirates jumped into the sea, and Krieg was on his knees watching everything with a horror-stricken expression.

Sin sighed as he watched the state of the ship. He had asked Hancock to go easy, but she was a Pyromaniac.

"Robin." He called out to his sister who was indifferently watching everything unfold.

Robin sweetly smiled at him, understanding what he wanted her to do and used her Devil Fruit Powers for the first time in the battle.

Her body dematerialised in a strange blue-white flame, and then a wave of blue-white fire washed over the deck, freezing everything that it came in contact with, and containing the Hellfire.

Hancock seemed satisfied with the damage she had done and summoned back the purple flames before silently coming to stand behind Sin. She was no longer in the mood to battle and just wanted to get back on their ship now.

Sin saw a dark-skinned member of Kreig Pirates dragging Don Krieg away with him, escaping in a dinghy, and he let them go. They had successfully captured the main ship, as well as more than half of the ships in Krieg's fleet.

The Crew spent the next hour transporting everything valuable for the Krieg's Fleet onto their ship. For a fleet of nearly 40 ships, the Kreig Pirates were poor on their treasure haul.

The treasure they found was not even worth 100 million Berries, but it was still a boon.

The crew later gathered to share a round of Honey Mead on their successful expedition, and Kuina, still not used to its taste, barely finished her mug.

"What's your Devil Fruit, Hancock?" She curiously asked as she held the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia in her hand.

"Mera Mera no mi. Model: Hellfire." She proudly said. "My Hellfire can burn everything in this world."

Kuina looked for information on the Fruit in the Devil Fruit encyclopedia, but she only found information on Mera Mera no Mi.

"There's no information on it..." She curiously looked at her.

"Lots of Devil Fruits are not recorded in the Encyclopedia. It was only compiled a few decades ago, and some Devil Fruits have not appeared in the world for centuries. No one knows what they look like." Sin informed her. "You won't find information on Goro Goro no Mi as well. Everyone believes that a Lightning Element Fruit must exist, but since no one knows what it looks like, it has not been added to the Encyclopedia yet."

"And what's your Devil Fruit, Robin?" Kuina nodded to him and asked his little sister.

"Mera Mera no Mi. Model: Frostflame." She lightly smiled at her. "It's a cold fire capable of freezing everything and contending against all types of Fires. Its burn is excruciatingly painful. Not as destructive as Hellfire, but it is powerful."

"How did you even manage to find two unknown Models of Mera Mera no Mi?" She asked in disbelief.

"We did not find them." Sin smiled at her. "Both the Fruits have been passed down in Black Family for centuries. They were only supposed to be used if our family faced a dire state." He informed her. "Also, they are not really Models of Mera Mera no Mi."

"What are they then?" She frowned but Sin just smiled at her, not answering her.

"Sin was supposed to have the Hellfire fruit, but he found Goro Goro no Mi, and he's happy with it," Robin told her, changing the subject.

"Why wouldn't he be? It is considered the strongest Logia." Bonney munched on a pizza that she had made for herself and said.

"Sin says that the Fruit is only as Powerful as the user, but that's not entirely true. Some Logia are superior to others. For example, Magu Magu no Mi is superior to the Mera Mera no Mi. Hie Hie no Mi is superior to Yuki Yuki no Mi." Bepo joined in. "But it is true that all Logia are broken. They are overpowered."

"What Devil Fruit did you eat?" Kuina curiously looked at Bepo and asked.

All of them nearly choked at her question, and Law was trying his best to suppress his laughter but the tears were already leaking from his eyes.

Bepo was blankly looking at her not knowing how to answer her.

"You thought that Bepo was a human who ate a Zoan Type Devil Fruit?" Robin giggled and asked.

"Yes." She nodded her head, and no one could contain their laughter anymore.

"I am a Mink!" Bepo loudly said, but then joined his friends, laughing along with them.

The crew spent quite some time informing Kuina that there were more intelligent creatures in the world than just humans. And the young girl was fascinated by everything that she learned.
