As the librarian pondered his answer, hesitant at Saera's casual tone, a young boy burst into the library, his sandals slapping loudly against the flooring. His knobby knees were stained with dirt and his breathing fast, as if he'd run here. The librarian frowned at the intrusion and prepared to scold the boy, but Saera stood, startled by the interruption.
