Turning around slowly…Cory looked at the aftermath of the desolate area. The emergency building was torn in half. Blood, guts, body parts was thrown all over the miniature down. Gravel lifted, fire scuffs, and all types of horrible issues were noticeable. Barely breathing, badly bruised, and in shock, Cory sat on his knees with his sword on the ground while his face was utterly dismayed.
The instant thoughts ran through his head…..'did she really leave us?' As the statements just ran through his head, he turned and looked at Thyrus, Who although so much chaos and noise was around, shedding tears without saying a word which left his own father baffled. Stumped and not sure what to do he grabbed him and made a promise to protect his son no matter what. Then out of the sky as if the wind was being pushed aside dropped 5 knights in silver armor with long swords on their hips sheathed.
The one to come forward was the leader, Thomas, who had pale skin but battered and bruised as if he led many wars alone. He had long blonde hair with a cape that stated "Chosen Knight King". Bitterly lifting his head, Cory chased at him and yelled his name. "WHERE, WHY?!?! YOU ALL ARE ALWAYS LATE!!! Why did you just now arrive !!!" But before he could reach Thomas, he was thrown to the ground and his face pushed in the gravel. Still holding on to Thyrus to make sure his son didn't touch the ground, he gritted his teeth. Thomas looked at Cory with remorse and bowed. He apologized at the highest degree and told Cory "o great warrior. I sincerely apologize for our late arrival but what happened to….Keke?" Cory shook his head and held Thyrus tightly.
Shocked, Thomas stepped back and cursed the land then told his troops to check the surrounding area for any survivors. He bent down on his knee then asked him what exactly happened. After explaining everything in key detail, Cory was told that Thyrus would have to be scheduled at 13 for his official mage, magic, sword magician, or anything significant. Shaking his head he understood and grabbed his sword then carried Thyrus out of the surrounding area.
Cory turned towards Thomas and told him that he would be in an isolated area in the mountains called Solina. They would be at the peak and he fore warns him not to be horrified at Cory's growth. Walking off he tells Thomas to be ready for the way of the world will be changed soon. Thomas looking off just shook his head realizing that maybe he should have killed them both or just something useful. He could feel the terror in his bones even as a great knight.

Sitting on the peak in a folded leg position with his eyes closed was a young lad looking about the age of 12. Holding a specially made wakizashi, he was soaking himself in the magic surrounding the area. An older man appeared near him and spoke. "You have learned well these past years, boy. Tomorrow you are to be taken to a school and we will not have contact. You will be gone for 3 years in your own respective field. Remember what I have told you and let your own destiny that you make guide your life." It was Cory, his own father.
Opening his eyes before remembering what has happened the past 12 years was the young lad. Azure and black hair with his azure eyes and braised body. His name was Thyrus, as he recalled the past 12 years of being brutally trained by his father. 'Man, this has been a hell of a life huh mom? I wonder what school and other people are like.' He wondered happily
