Oddly enough, it was only students at the academy that was noticeable were humans. Thyrus seemed confused when he walked into the meeting hall until the head mage exceptional class also known as Lion came out. He was dressed in a mage gown with fire waves going down the side and had lining that was bright silk. His aura nearly lit the children on fire but the teachers were use to his glow. He had a bald head and a staff that had a small orb in it. He began to speak to the hall full of 30 kids. "Welcome to the greatest school for the human class. It has been 3000 years since the our 4 kings battled the great dragon Thyrus. Ultimately, we have been at a stalemate with the beasts known as Deaths. This war has been going on for almost 1000 years. We are to bring you all up to the most exceptional standard in what mages are supposed to represent. Remember, listen well, and pay attention in all class. You will now line up to be tested for your magical capabilities."
Seeing as how they immediately started lining up, Thyrus got in line. There was a black orb with clear tint inside that was supposed to light up once a person touched it as they did when they were kids. The first to step up was a rowdy child named Terror. "I already know I'm going to be head class student! Let's get this over with." He shouted loudly. Immediately, Thyrus thought: 'I hope I don't be parred with this guy. His show off attitude will be annoying.'
Terror immediately placed his hand up on the orb. It started to light up and changed its color to white. It stated up on a loud noise like an intercom - Light magic user intermediate! Intermediate! It rung. The whole hall could hear its echos. The teachers began to murmur among themselves at the sheer power a kid had. 'Hmm I wonder if I will have it'd be great for my class.' One spoke.
Terror stepped down all proud and headed off to the side while the other kids started checking. One by one they had all clocked out as beginner, fire, water, earth, and one lava user each. The next to step up was a young lady that looked of about 12 years of age. She had curly locs and a prestigious aura on herself. She gripped both hands on the orb then poured her magic into it. The orb itself lit up as lightning attribute. It was a rare sight to see that. See not many people in the world was bred with lightning magic. And all the teachers and the head mage lit up. "A lightning mage?! Here?! Impossible! She must have a rare noble bloodline." One of the teachers yelled. The head magic lifted his hand and the teachers fell back in line. 'It seems we have a great one with huge potential.' Lion thought. What is your name? He asked. She told him, "It is Erica head mage." He looked carefully then told her carry on.
The next kid was a stout strong noble named Strutus. The orb rang intermediate and fire for him and he looked upon the others with disgust as if he was better than them. "Worthless people. I hate the smell of peasants." He flicked his robe and walked beside the female teacher and cuffed his hands behind his back waiting on the last.
The final child to step up was none other than Thyrus. He gripped his blade in its sheath and put one hand on the orb. Strangely, as he poured his magic inside it, it went from white, lightning attribute, to water, fire, earth…..but then it broke. For the first time in hundreds of years the testing orb broke. Confusion lit up the room. And yelling amongst the teachers yelled. "Azure and black mixture hair?! Azure eyes too! This must be a reincarnation of…" and before he finished, Lion spread aura as to enclose his mouth and shut up him. 'Well…what do we have here' Lion thought. Before it got to serious, Thyrus was told to be put aside. For the first time, a child had an affinity to all classes of abilities.
Lion then spoke, "now all of you will go to your dorms and meet your roommates. There will be placement upon rank and will be scheduled for first class tomorrow at 9am sharp. Alarms have been placed in every room so do not be late." Thyrus was the last to get to his room ignoring the disgusts of the students and teachers as Lion went back to his office.
The first to run up to Thyrus was none other than Terror. "AHAHAAH. I thought I'd get a good roommate and looks like it's none other than you Thyrus! We got a quiet kid already in here but we're gonna be best buds!" He strongly gripped Thyrus shoulder and laughed loudly. Thyrus looked at the other kid who was the beginner earth attribute. Immediately, Thyrus knew from then that his school days would be hell.
