Chapter 50 - Childhood friends part 2

Sometime in the past. (Christopher's pov)

It took a second for the light to go away but when it did Mazaya was moving alittle. I hurried up to her. "Mazaya, Mazaya. Are you okay?" I rushed out. My heart was scared. It was beating too fast. She groggily opened her eyes while rubbing them.

"Why are you looking like that and were you trying to kiss me?" She asked. I blushed and shook my head. As she rolled her eyes she said. "You know you are such a baby right. Now let me see if it worked." As she looked at me she smiled. "Did what work?" I asked. I was confused on what she did.

"Huh do I have to tell you everything?" She said rolling her eyes. "I gave you as much power as your body could take duh and it worked. I'm a genius and now you will be the luckiest God ever to exist. You are as powerful as me. Well not really as powerful as me but still you'll be powerful." She was going on while screeching.

"Mazaya what were you talking about?" I asked. She rolled her eyes again. I'm surprised they never got stuck. "You are now one of the most powerful Gods in existence. This is so cool. Let's go we can test out your powers at the arcade." She said as she was running off..

I had to run after her again. I never could catch up. "Wait up." I yelled. "Last one there is a powerless chicken." She yelled while looking back at me sticking out her tongue. Right when she turned her head back she tripped.. "Ahhhhh. Hey wait up that's no fair." She yelled after me.

The last time I fell she kept going. I wanted to win she would be fine. "Hey you cheated. Wait up." She yelled. I could here hear her feet behind me. I was running as fast as I could and Everytime she got close she would trip. "You probably should tie your shoes." I laughed out. "I'm going to win." I yelled out. "My shoes are tied and wait up." She yelled out of breath.

As we rounded the corner I seen the arcade, I was going to win. Right as that thought came up I heard a scream and a thump. "Christopher I hurt myself wait up. Come help me up." She cried. The arcade was right there and she could heal, she would be fine. I kept running even as she was yelling after me. As soon as I ran in the arcade I yelled "Victory". This was my first win.

After I grabbed our tokens and got everything we usually got, I looked around for Mazaya. She was No where to be found. Where was she. It had been awhile. As I went outside to look, I seen her still on the ground. Really is she going to throw a fit because she won I never win anything. As I got close to her I seen the gold coming out of her hands.

I ran up to her. "Mazaya are you okay" I asked I should've never kept running. She looked up at me with gold eyes. "You left me. How could you leave me?" She asked. Her hands were glowing gold. "I just wanted to win I'm sorry." I said. I looked down and the gold was getting worse this had never happened before. I was worried.

"You don't care about me. Do you not like me? Is that why you left me even though I was hurt." She asked. "I do like you, I'm your best friend. I just never won anything before I'm sorry." I said feeling bad now. Mazaya has never really cried before. She usually fake cried not real cried.

"I'll fix this I didn't want to make you cry I'll go get you one of the mystery dolls and you will see how sorry I am and how much you mean to me." I said reaching my hand out to get her to come. She looked at it and started crying again. "I don't want to go I'll stay here forever. I have all the dolls but one and I haven't been able to get it so don't waste your time." She cried out.

The glowing gold was getting stronger. Without thinking I ran to the arcade as fast as I could. As soon as I got to the mystery dolls machine I seen there was only one left. This can't be happening. What's the chance the one that's left is the one she needs. I'll let her open it maybe she'll appreciate it because I tried.

After I paid for it I ran back to her. The gold was going up her legs and arms now. "Mazaya there was only one left but I got it for you to open still. here." I said as I tried to hand it it her. "I don't want it. You open it I'm not lucky. There's only a few made so don't even bother." She cried she looked so sad. She never was like this before.

"I'll open it. You are lucky. You just don't see what I see." I said as I opened up the mystery doll. I would've ripped it open fast but Mazaya always liked to make sure the box was nice. As I got the doll out the box and unwrapped it my heart jumped for joy. "Look I found it. Mazaya it's your doll." I yelled

"I know you're trying to make me feel better. You probably didn't even open it." She said. "I did look. I promise you I'm not lying just look for me." I pleaded

She slowly looked up and laid eyes on the doll she had been looking for forever. Tears started to fall down her face. Was she not happy?
