What in the world was Joshua trying to do? Was he out of his mind? What did he mean that he didn't think that we could meet his requirements?
I was completely pissed off and said,"You can't do that, at least not at this juncture when everything has been finalized. Not when we have spent so much time and resources for this project! No matter what your grievances with me, you shouldn't take it out on the company!"
Kevin added,"Dr. Williams, this seems very unprofessional of you. During the day, you said you needed to discuss it with Issy about if she could incorporate your requirements into her prototype, but now you're saying that you want to cancel the agreement just because you don't think we can do it? Like Issy said, after spending much time and resources on developing the app for the institute, how can you just toss it away at will?"
Joshua simply replied,"Whatever losses you incurred, I'll bear it, but I think it's best that we cancel this deal."
