At the dinner table , we all had our dinner quietly, except for the kids sharing stories about their school and what they usually liked to do, and even the puppy that they had rescued.

I had thought of letting him stay for dinner , but he had needed to go home earlier, but I should have called him over for dinner. Let me go and...", she said, and was about to rise from her seat, but I interrupted and said , "Mom, please sit and have your dinner first. I'll give him a call later and if needed, I'll go and visit him to give him some of the dish you prepared."
