What could have been so urgent for Ms. Miller that she needed to rush home at this hour? Is Ms. Miller involved in another occupation other than your company?"
What nonsense was Joshua spouting? It was one thing to insult me direct to my face, but he was insulting me in front of my boss! The audacity of the man to talk about me in that way was beyond my comprehension.
