My smile froze as I came face to face with the man whose face I had only been seeing in my dreams, and who I had been longing for these past five years.
Roy looked at me , and put his hand on my shoulder and his action confused me , but he squeezed it and whispered , "Don't worry Issy. If he does anything to you, I'm here. You don't have to be scared."
I was too shocked to respond, so I simply nodded and bade him goodbye and followed Kevin and the others to the conference room, all the while wondering if I would be able to continue with the demo.
When we reached the conference room, I remembered that I had locked the room, so I quickly said , "My apologies, gentlemen , I had actually locked the comference room for fear that someone might mess up my arrangements. I'll go get the keys right now."
