"Mom, I have thought it over and have decided that I'll get a divorce from Joshua . Maybe I don't even need to do that as his mom and Elizabeth can easily arrange for annulment of our marriage", I said to my mom as we were on our way to the insurance office.
My mom was still not on board with my decision , and was trying to talk me out of relocating to a completely new city.
Truth be told , I was scared as well. I mean, who wouldn't be right? It's one thing to plan for relocation, and completely another thing to actually relocate and live in a place where you don't know anyone, and do not have anything planned out for survival.
All I had was my outrageous idea that I needed to move out of my all too familiar town and my city, and settle somewhere else to numb my pain and bury my past , as I started my life afresh.
