I looked for the key beneath the door mat, and unlocked it to get to the house. I opened the door and since I wasn't in the mood to do anything, I said,"There might be some frozen ready to eat meals in the fridge, let me go heat them for you. I'm sorry you had to miss the buffet and miss out the big gala lunch."
He chuckled and said,"What? And miss out having frozen ready to eat lunch with you? Why would I even do that?"
I shook my head helplessly, and gave him a lopsided smile, and said,"I'm glad you think so. Please keep that thought in mind when you take the frozen lunch."
He laughed at my feeble attempt to joke, and said,"You forget, that I'm a single man, who lives alone and leads a somewhat busy life. Frozen food is my life saver, so it's not a big deal."
I smiled and nodded at him, while replying,"Well, then that's good for you. Another one of your life saving food coming right up."
