Joshua looked at me, and for a fleeting few seconds, I thought I saw a look of remorse on his face, but he masked it, just as quick as it had appeared.
He said,"Issy, I came here to see you and..." He took a deep breath, and added,"..say that I'm sorry for hurting you and not believing in you, when I should have...."
I was surprised that Joshua had travelled all the way to my hometown to tell me that he believed in me and that he was sorry. Truth be told, I was happy that Joshua believed in me, at last, but I could not just go running back to him, or for that matter, even to Roy.
Joshua continued,".. I just thought that Elizabeth won't stoop so low, to push you and hurt you, resulting in the loss of our baby. I should have trusted that you were telling the truth and stood by your side. I'm really sorry Issy, I messed it all up..."
