"Issy, I understand why you left the decision making to me, and I understand that it would have been difficult for you to deny Roy of his rights as a father",Joshua said, cutting me off mid sentence.
He brought his finger to my face to remove the stray hair from my forehead, and said,"It doesn't matter if our baby has his last name, our baby will still be our baby."
When he said,'our baby', I felt like all my troubles had vanished into thin air. I looked up at him, with tears in my eyes and said,"So you don't mind that the baby won't be a Williams but a Davis?"
He smiled and said,"Stupid woman, it's just a name, why would it matter? Besides, it will just be her last name, and just for the paper works, so it won't matter much whether she is a Williams or a Davis."
I looked up in surprise at the way he was addressing the baby as a she, and I furrowed my brows at him as I pouted and said,"I didn't want to know the baby's gender until I gave birth. I wanted it to be a surprise."
