"Zeke",I called out his name as I followed him, and he looked back at me, and stopped walking, waiting for me. "Whatever Gabby said there..", I started and he waved me off saying,"I know Joshua likes you."
I was surprised to hear Zeke say that, and was at a loss for words, when he continued, "I know that you seem to like him as well, Issy."
If I was surprised and at a loss for words, at his admittance that he knew about Joshua liking me, I was now dumbfounded and didn't know what to do or say.
I simply stood there, like an idiot, not knowing what to do. He added,"Its just that, despite knowing that my brother likes you, I only hoped that I...", and he trailed off, when a nurse came looking for him.
"Excuse me, are you Mr. Zeke Williams, Dr. Joshua Williams' family member?",she said and Zeke nodded impatiently and said,"Yes, I'm Zeke, Joshua's brother. What's wrong?"
She smiled and replied,"Nothing's wrong. Your brother woke up and I was told to inform you as soon as he woke up."
