My whole world came to a grinding halt . What in the world was happening ? Up untill this morning , I felt like my life had taken for a better turn , but now it all felt like a joke.
My husband had apparently impregnated his ex and now my dad ? My sweet dad was no more ? I ran all the way to the house and packed my stuffs, which luckily , I hadn't unpacked much . I opened the uber app and requested for a ride to the bus station .
While on the journey in the bus , I kept thinking about my dad and questioned just what had gone wrong that he was taken away from me too soon . I wanted to wail and cry , but I knew I had to be strong so I continued to grit my teeth and held back my tears .
I hadn't told anyone about my departure , and realized that Joshua might call Leo or my mom , so I quickly texted a message to Leo , forbidding him to tell Joshua about my dad's passing or that I was on my way to my hometown.
