I knew I was being too hard on Joshua, but I couldn't deal with him trying to defend Elizabeth, and tell me that I might be the one in the wrong.
He sighed and said,"Issy, I'm not trying to support Elizabeth, but are you sure she was the one who pushed you? The CCTV footage showed..."
"What did the CCTV footage show? That I was the one who pushed her? Joshua! Do you really think I would stoop so low to put my own baby's life at risk to get some sort of pleasure from blaming Elizabeth?", I lashed at him in anger.
He ran his fingers through his hair in apparent frustration and said,"Issy, please calm down. You know I didn't mean it that way."
I was frustrated at him, for even having this conversation with me. If anything, I wanted him to be by my side and be my support, not tell me that I might be mistaken about Elizabeth pushing me.
However, I had to calm down, so after a few deep breaths, I said,"Joshua, do you seriously think that I'm lying about Elizabeth?"
