Zeke had come back after his short rest and I had to commend him for his devotion towards Joshua. He had barely rested for a couple of hours before he came back to be by Joshua's side.
Unaware of what had transpired between his family and me, he was simply inviting me over to his parents' house and I couldn't help but let out a chuckle.
His mom cast me a stern look at my chuckle, but I couldn't help myself at how the whole thing about visiting the Williams' house, was just absurd.
"Let's go Bethy",she beckoned at Elizabeth, who obediently stood up and went to Mrs Williams' side, and left the hospital with her.
"Uncle Elijah, won't you be going as well?",Zeke asked Mr. Williams, and he shook his head and said, "I think I'll stick here for awhile. Issy, can we go for a stroll in the garden below, seeing as Joshua is asleep right now, and Ezekiel is here to look after his needs, and you need your dose of fresh air as well?"
