A young man staring up at the TV at Jungle Town, His name is Damien. Standing be hind the counter hating his job. Damien is an 17 year old collage drop-out working two part-time jobs just to help pay bills at home and trying to save up enough money for the chance to go to school again. His mother, Mara, is a single mother who works 1 full-time and 2 part-time jobs to give her kids a better life. A little sister, Lilith, was only 12 years old was trying to be an adult and helping her mom around the house.
He wants to have fun and game with his friends again but he knows his mom can't do every thing on her own. He wants his mom and sister to have a good life and he doesn't know what else to do besides work.
Damien finally gets off work at 10 pm and starts biking back home when his chain breaks and he crashes to the ground in front of the night club that's 3 blocks from his work. He goes to stand up and then notices people staring and snickering at him when one guy shouts shouldn't you have learned to ride a bike by now and the whole crowd starts to laugh. While Damien got himself off the ground he heard someone go. Damien is that you? Damien looks up to see Kai his friend from middle school who moved away when his dad got a job transfer 4 years ago.
"Kai is that you? What are you doing here didn't you move to Japan? When did you get back?"
"About a week ago my dad got transferred back after a promotion so we moved back. I was just visiting my cousin." He said with a smile on his face.
All of a sudden they hear the guy from before. "Hey pricks get out of the way us grown ups want to get some action tonight and your in the way." He then shoves James to the side and that's when the two bouncers at the doors then grabs the guy then proceed to twist his arms behind his back then force him to his knees in front of the entrance of the club. The bouncer on the right brings out a phone and makes a call. When the person on the other end picks up the bouncer say. ( You may want to come out here the young master was just attacked.
The next thing you hear is the loud music that's being echoed through the entrance of the club go quiet and a group of 8 men big and small come barreling out of the club and starts to force every one back including Damien. "Not him!!" Kai says pointing to Damien.
The next instant a beautiful women in her early 20's comes rushing out and yells, "Who dares to lay a finger on my precious baby cousin?" The two bouncers from before then proceed to grab the man who shoved Kai aside and hold him down. "So it was you!" the beauty says with anger in her voice when she sees the man being held down. "You dare to touch my cousin in front of my family's club. You must really be tired of a peaceful life?" Kai then proceeds to stand up dust himself off and walk up to his cousin.
"Miyu!" Kai says in a displeased tone.
The beautiful girl whos name is apparently Miyu looks towards Kai and notices the displeased look on his face, "What I was just trying to teach this ugly man a lesson." she says with a confused look. She then notices Damien on the ground next to Kai and askes, "Who is your friend over there?"
Kai says this is Damien we are childhood friends from middle school you should remember him." he said in a soft tone.
"Oh hey Damien I haven't seen you in years. How have you been?" She asked giving him a smile and a peck on the cheek.
When Damien looks at her he is confused he then looks towards Kai. "Hey who is she?" he whispered in his ear not trying to be to noticeable.
At this point in time Damien doesn't realize that their family's life is about to change because of this reconnection to a friend he hasn't seen in years all because lady luck decided to make his bike chain to break in front of this random night club.
